Responding by saying nothing.
Clearly they would just put off the raid releasing until the 3rd of January? A month+ of leveling time if it comes out on the 28th of November.
> "Blizzard Responds to Initial Release Date Feedback"Not really.
"We haven't announced it yet that was totally and accidental leak, just like the Sept 26th WOTLK one, stop asking us about it"
Nathria launching in between Thanksgiving and Christmas was *awful*. Nobody but RTWF raiders are going to have the raid cleared by Christmas. WoW’s primary demographic has to be people above 25 at this point, given the games age. I imagine the vast majority of them have families to visit and many of them probably have children who have far different priorities than how fastly we can push AOTC or CE. Hopefully we don’t have a repeat of that again. Simply “taking a break” isn’t ideal either - it’s hard enough to organize any group of people, let alone exactly 20 of them. If 20% of the group doesn’t have holiday plans, they might go play with another team (which is their right - it’s a game and if THEY are free they should enjoy said game), but that can wreck guilds on break or with people missing during the holidays. Please don’t do that again.
So ppl who are having 2 weeks freetime during holidays to play, should suk cuz of the few WF racers?
responding by not responding.... got it feeling that the op asking them about raiding saw the leak posted by wowhead and since the leaker got the wotlk pre patch and launch right that is more than likely they got df launch as well. and if it's like SL we would be raiding during Christmas unless they delay the release of the raid till after the new year which I hope they do if true.
Said nothing and left. KekwJust prep for October 25/26 as prepatch as a worst case scenario and us getting mythic raid on Dec 13.
Just do the same release schedule you did with Shadowlands. As long as raid and season start by December 15th it's fine. But please don't release expansion and then hold off raid and m+ for a month, that will literally kill my desire to play the game and that's not how I should feel on new expansion launch. There just isn't enough content in the game for a month with disabled raid and pvp/m+ season.
They can't win with any choice they make. The game is GOING to launch the week before thanksgiving the same as SL. It can't launch in December since Blizzard takes the later half of the month off so they need it to launch earlier to fix potential server issues and whatnot associated with the launch. That leaves two options. Season 1 launches the same time as Nathria or like middle of January. Idk about you, but I would rather the guilds themselves decide their schedules and breaks and have the season launch as Nathria did because the other option is TWO MONTHS of literally nothing to do at max level which affects way more people who do keys or pvp or whatever.
Those poor RWFers, wont somebody think of them? /s
It's on you to decide what's more important for you, if taking some time with your family or a videogame.BTW there's more Planet than the U S A, Europe is perfectly fine with the game releasing during Thanksgiving LOL
what Initial Release Date?"When the time comes for us to announce a release date for Dragonflight"wowhead losing touch and has moved onto click baiting people this last year or so.. disappointed.
Where are the missing talent treeeees
ez, raid not available until new year
Be nice if they stopped catering to raiders and focused on meaningful content outside of raiding, maybe, you know.. making the world feel alive
It's not like they should have said anything more. We're still in alpha and they haven't announced anything yet. Hell people are getting angry at blizzard about something that blizzard hasn't even done yet. There are dozens of different things that could have changed from when the leader saw that date and when blizz actually announce it.
This response is not a "No, we won't have you raid during Holidays."
