I wasn't even aware it was still attainable. I thought it was removed in the pre patch, and those characters that already had it would keep it until Shadowlands dropped, then it would simplt become a normal necklace.
That's not "fun detected" that is "People abusing unintended things, to get an unfair advantage"
An unfair advantage to get some extra stats while levelling? Don't know why they care that much
Dumb change and yet they think people choose bfa for lvling at lvl 40 for some magic reason
not many comments yet but let me guessin a few hours there will be another 300 comments talking about how the sky is falling and how shadowlands is dead and how your not allowed to like it because of this change
oh so the neck unlocks later I was so confused when I started an alt and got nothing lol...
Didn't know this was a thing, I just kinda did the mindless grind. Good to know though. Good work Blizz.
Why does blizzard care about gear that's at the end of its lifespan? Please focus on Shadowlands and get your priorities straight.
i like how you hide your weapon with broken relics in it in the picture.
The high level requirement for the HoA is one of the most idiotic things about how they did the level squish. It's integral to the entire gearing system of BfA, it should be a level 10 item plain and simple. If they're worried about it being imbalanced then they should make it's stats scale with your level until you hit either level 40 or 50.
Gotta hammer that fun thing that speeds up levelling instead of actually working on getting shadowlands ready. I totally approve, blizzard. Take my money.
Wait, so they wrote out the Heart from the BfA story line? Wasn't it and Azerite kind of all over the script? I'd imagined that if you chose BfA as your 10-50 leveling experience, you'd get the full BfA experience including the heart at the start (appropriately scaled)?I'm surprised, I'd have thought that would be both a better experience plus actually easier to implement than having to edit it out everywhere and re-insert neck pieces which had been left out as unnecessary...
I don’t really get why they can’t have it start at lvl 10 and just scale appropriately. Right now if you’re a new player (being forced into BfA rather than WoD like everyone else is gonna pick) you’re getting azerite to power the HoA you don’t have from quests. HoA still works in non-SL content and will be a part of time walking players will utilize. So alts and new players won’t get that same experience. This just seems like a silly design move.
I think a main reason they don't want the HoA to be available too early in the leveling experience is a player could go to BfA, grab the heart and some azerite gear, and then go to another continent with a lot more power than they should have, or screw around in low-level dungeons/battlegrounds that weren't balanced for itThat's just my hunch, though.
