I just wanted to chime in.. First, I'm sure that the ZAM and Wowhead team appreciate your support of the site by being a VIP/Premium subscriber. I also fully understand where you're getting at in that you are paying for a service, but are presented with posts you don't feel that you should be bothered with. As far as the BFF Report is concerned, the show is shot/edited/produced completely by yours truly. No one tells me what to say or what games to talk about or anything of that. This means that the show is essentially a reflection of who I am and my opinions..So who the hell am I? I'm a longtime WoW player who likes to poke fun at other games.. just like everyone else. People dig my show because I call it how I see it, sprinkle in some humor, some Darnell, maybe a pinch of FredBob, and a sick chinhawk (u jelly?). Sometimes I come across a game that doesn't completely suck, so I'll spend a few episodes going over it in a little more detail for those that are maybe looking for something to do in the WoW 'off-season'. I think it's fair to say that the lovely people here on Wowhead that watch the show, do so because they can relate to my MMO humor. Why? Because we all essentially "come from" WoW.. so I when I drop a line like "LOLferals" in a review about freaking DC Universe Online, who the hell else will get that except you guys?! Obviously, I'll continue to post future episodes of the BFF Report here in the blog, but I hope that you can see the value in what we do and continue to support Wowhead (and me too, if you want :P) in the future.Balls.
take me. right here. right now.
Oh would you all just shut the hell up! Get on topic or GTFO already! Now, as for the actual topic, I'm really enjoying Rift PvP, though I really wish that, at least for the beta events, they'd make some lower level PvP gear. It's a $%^&* trying to level up solely with PvP and having to hop on my PvE character to make or buy gear so I don't get stomped into the ground by those who are doing a mix of PvP and PvE. Even if it was crappy gear, it'd still be better than nothing for those that want to go the PvP route.I ended up making my PvE character a gatherer and sending all the mats to my PvP character to be able to make my own weapons and armor.
Sorry Fony for ripping it off topic.
Can anyone tell me how common the beta invites are? I want to try the game before I decide to purchase it; it looks like it might be a pretty good alternative to WoW, which is just what I'm looking for because WoW's community has gotten irritatingly hostile.
2:43LOL WINGZ!11!also think the jumpy thing is pretty cool, especially how useful it is on the Ab style bg
