Constructed deep within the core of Argus and outfitted with an arsenal capable of decimating worlds, this war machine has been designed for a single purpose: to bring the mortals' invasion to its knees.
!16On Mythic difficulty, the cannons can no longer be destroyed, but instead go haywire, granting the cannons additional effects.
Infused with fire and shadow, F'harg and Shatug are the prized pets of Sargeras. Bred for carnage, these hounds delight in eviscerating their master's enemies. With the Army of the Light and their allies advancing upon Antorus, the Legion prepares to unleash these vicious creatures onto the battlefield and put an end to the mortals' invasion.
!16In this difficulty, Enflame Corruption triggers Lingering Flames upon completion.
!16In this difficulty, Siphon Corruption triggers Siphoned Soul upon completion.
!16In this difficulty, this afflicts enemies with Flametouched or Shadowtouched.
Long ago in the golden age of eredar civilization, a council was formed to oversee the defense of Argus and maintain peace. But after their dark bargain was struck with Sargeras, these master tacticians used their military expertise to help orchestrate a Burning Crusade that ravaged countless worlds. Now the full might of the Legion's army is theirs to command, and they wield this terrible power to annihilate all who oppose the Dark Titan's will.
!16On Mythic difficulty, Screaming Shrikes will appear periodically to attempt to remove your allies from command pods they have commandeered.
Portal Keeper Hasabel maintains the nexus through which the Legion has unleashed its insidious armies upon countless worlds. With portals that open to a myriad of strategic locations throughout the Great Dark Beyond, Hasabel is capable of bringing the might of the Legion's arsenal to bear upon any who oppose her.
Though she was felled by the blade of Sargeras, the Life-Binder's essence escaped the grasp of the Dark Titan. After millennia spent hiding in isolation, Eonar's sanctuary has been discovered by the Legion. Should her soul fall into the enemy's hands, Eonar's powers of nature and growth will be perverted to make the Burning Crusade unstoppable.
!16 In Mythic difficulty, players can only have one charge of Surge of Life at a time.
!16 In Mythic difficulty, each cast of Life Force reenergizes players with Essence of the Lifebinder.
!16 Fel Shielding can only be removed by the explosion of a [Rain of Fel].
!16 This ability is only used when the caster is not actively engaged in melee combat.
!16 In Mythic difficulty, the route these creatures take is exceptionally short.
The infamous Imonar serves as the Legion's bloodhound, capable of tracking prey across the cosmos. With a vast array of gadgets and traps at his disposal, Imonar has yet to lose a bounty... and he certainly doesn't intend to sully his perfect record by failing to fulfil his latest contract.
!16In Mythic difficulty, these transitions occur every time Imonar loses 20% of his maximum health.
All targets struck are also knocked away from the blast.
!15,16Imonar the Soulhunter takes 75% less damage while channeling this effect.
The design of every Legion war machine stems from the depraved mind of Kin'garoth. Obsessed with crafting implements of death, Kin'garoth infused his very body into the production machinery so he could more efficiently churn out a never-ending supply of destruction. At the behest of the Legion's dark master, Kin'garoth's fevered brilliance has developed a new super-weapon which he plans to unleash upon the Army of the Light.
As one the dreadlords overseeing the Legion's forces during the Third War, Varimathras failed to stop the rebellious Lich King. He submitted to an ill-fated alliance with Sylvanas Windrunner, then made one last bid for power before facing a humiliating defeat. In payment for his blunders, Varimathras has been tortured by the Coven of Shivarra. The vindictive sisters stripped away both flesh and sanity, leaving only a singular desire to inflict suffering upon the mortals who cost him everything.
Having proven themselves to be the most depraved and fanatical of all his followers, Sargeras entrusted the Coven with the unholy task of twisting the minds of the fallen titans into an unstoppable Dark Pantheon. Each sister employs her own signature brand of torture, eliciting screams which echo throughout the halls of Antorus. It is said that neither mortal nor demon can refuse their whispers, making it only a matter of time before the will of the titans is broken.
Once the noble Avenger of the Pantheon, Aggramar was struck down by Sargeras and reborn as a titan of destruction. He now stands at the core of Argus, guarding a power that could unmake the universe. Not even demons are permitted to tread within the titan's halls, and any mortals bold enough to trespass will be reduced to cinders by Aggramar's burning blade, Taeshalach.
Over the course of the encounter Aggramar passively generates energy. Upon reaching 100 Energy, his sword, Taeshalach, unleashes fiery energy and he begins [Taeshalach Technique], a devastating combo attack, alternating between [Foe Breaker] and [Flame Rend], ending with a [Searing Tempest].Upon reaching 80% and 40% Aggramar activates his [Corrupt Aegis], preventing all damage and the elemental forces within Taeshalach are unleashed. Several smaller Embers of Taeshalach erupt from the blade along with two Flames of Taeshalach. The Embers slowy move towards Aggramar causing a [Blazing Eruption]. Killing both Flames of Taeshalach causes Aggramar to resume his attacks.

Galactus is that you? Have you seen Silver Surfer yet
The loot wasn't really a mystery though, it's been on PTR for awhile. Only thing new is trinkets.
Still can't unsee that LUL on his head
Sounds like Argus the Unmaker encounter has a mix of Lich King fight (all killed at start of last phase) & Yogg-Saron fight (aided by those we've defeated in earlier encounters; albeit that the aid is optional, in Ulduar) about it..
Aman'thul's Wisdom is a super-Arcanocrystal. Praise god, I might actually get a trinket upgrade some time this expansion.
Bit torn on this. On one hand, it's nice to see the encounter details and drops, but on the other I'm surprised Blizzard didn't hide this for a bit longer. Would be nice if they hid a couple of the mechanics at least.
It is about time we see Arcanocrystal superseded. I would hope the Highfather could make a better trinket than a drug addict in a cave on an island!
Aman'thul's Wisdom actually has less stats than an Arcanocrystal at the same item level.
Arcano crystal 2.0 hype!
As a side note, some new tooltips may have weird cache issues for a few. We had an issue, due to some staff out sick, where at first the tooltips worked but the item pages didn't...and now that the items are working properly it's taking time for the tooltips to catch up.But you can click thru if the tooltip doesn't load to see the Arcanocrystal-like stats :)
Hmm so, the trinket can only be empowered when fighting Antorus and when said Pantheon is aiding the raid? And in order to get that trinket you need to kill Antorus. It's a nice boost for people that got the trinket on Normal difficulty and bring them Heroic and Mythic, i suppose.
Just imagine someone random casual player.LFR Titanforged Aman'Thul's Wisdom 950+ Relinquished Arcano 950+BOTH equipped and you are still trying to get them... And maybe you will never get
I want the mount that Argus drops sooo badly.
Their patch number system seems so weird nowadays. Last time they went from 7.2 to 7.2.5 and now 7.3 to 7.3.2.
OK... I am SO excited for Antorus!
@perculia You have to fix the definition of the UA 2.0 Trinket :) It says it procs primary stats(just int), but it also procs tertiary stats (Speed, Avo, Leech)
