Because it already existed in the game, and it still does, it's just applied to the Travel Form spell now, and is sadly exclusive with Glyph of the Cheetah, Glyph of the Doe, and Glyph of the Sentinel, all of which also change some version of Travel Form.
Why do I need to go buy theses when I already had the glyphs on my toons. I had to buy them once and now I have to go buy them again if I want them? Doesn't seem right to me!
where is the tome for astral form? blizzard said it would be a tome, but i don't see it on here.
Hold on... so the fact that Druid's Flight Form sounds like an owl now when cast is or is not a bug? Because you turn into some sort of hawk or raven (which the old sound effect matched) and only turn into an owl with the glyph.On a side note, you should really be able to apply glyphs to the Stag Form spell learned from the tome. Though I suppose changing it to a cheetah kinda stops it from being a "Stag Form", huh?

Dear mages!Understand the difference between old ploymorph glyphs and spells! Assuming you bought the polymorph spell, they are still in your spell book. The glyphs are gone!
I got polymorph Monkey while farming transmog in Deadmines.
Apart of me finds this change a bit annoying, particularly if you already had some of the glyphs/items that gave a character these features it means they have to get them all over again. I don't know if I am finding the right words to express my opinion, but it feels like they removed this and added the same content back in expecting players don't realize it.
Warlocks got the shaft, no toys, no glyph vendor nothing but a big slap in the face..
They need to bring back the glyph for shamans to port to the earthshrines. I went to port there last night for the timewalking stuff and ended up in the Golden Latern instead -_-
Mages got shafted too, though not as bad as Warlocks. The items were placed in the world and taken away shortly after. The vendor Endora Moorehead is no longer in Dalaran, thus none of the items she sells are obtainable, including the port to Old Dalaran crater. Thanks Blizz, was great almost buying some new toys.
