So are they making the fights more difficult and limiting our use of WAs or bringing the difficulty down to make it doable without relying on WAs?
I wonder if Blizzard realizes how much boxing out the ability to use Weak Aura's is going to piss off and/or alienate a portion of it's userbase.If Blizzard doesn't nail their ability notifications during this raid, it may very well go down as one of the worst played raids in history.Some people need Weak Aura's to help with customizing notifications due to disabilities.Bad call Blizzard. Bad call.
It's kind of silly that Blizzard wants to nuke Weak Auras but refuses to make better notifications for the abilities that are going to be used. I foresee people really not liking this Raid at this rate.

All this will do is ignore auras entirely and timed abilities will be notified instead, and after players take damage that will register a cast.
I wonder, why even bother with customizable UI if everything is blacklisted? Is this preparation to disable all addons in favour of the new UI in next xpac?
I do think people have a point that's worth mentioning. Private auras are good for the game, I really belive that. But if blizzard doesn't design those abilities to be easier to see or track then it's not the best. I hope that blizzard has put more effort into their ui and tracking if this is the future
I think private auras have a reason. Some mechanics are destroyed by WA.But these attacks from Fyrakk sound basic as hell, they arent something that ruins immersion.
blizzard goes the way of private auras and players go the way of private servers
