This is a Reagent for the new JC Panther Mounts.
The name may or may not be a place holder; which in itself is a joke on the fact that you will spend a few billion copper coins in order to get your hands on a BoE profession made mount.

That being said; I'll take 8.

Commentaire de barbeque

I can't quite put my finger on why, but I suspect this will be the new gold sink in Mists of Pandaria.

Commentaire de 899804

I already pre-ordered 40 of these for my many blood elf concubines. Concubines love panthers.

Commentaire de 114953

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here and assume this is expensive.

Commentaire de massacre0520

To those who've been looking through new MoP stuff, this is probably a placeholder for the actual mats necessary. Obviously we're in the early beta stages of MoP and they are yet to reveal everything. Be patient, I highly doubt they'll want to create a 500k gold sink for a panther.

Commentaire de regma

Nice. Now I wonder if they're going to have anything else higher?
Also gotta like the names they come up with :)

Commentaire de 979662

Actually, looking at WoWhead, it says 25,000g is the sell price for 20 of these. So if you do the math: 25,000 / 20 = 1250g per. 1250 x 5= 6250g per mount. All 4 mounts: 6250 x 4= 25,000g. So the Jeweled Onyx Panther will be 25,000g. That's just what I was thinking. Maybe I'm wrong, but we'll see soon :)

Commentaire de Dimenz

i was really excited for the new mounts (being a JC myself)...until i saw the price of Orbe de mystère time to go get some more gold :P

Commentaire de VindicoSolus

Judging from the sell price of this item, the pruchasing price will be 100,000g each.

Commentaire de 996112

Wonder if this gem will be acquired by raids or the new world bosses? I hope it will be acquired through prospecting or even transmutable.

Commentaire de 1001102

lol wait a min, whats the gold cap? i can say for sure on my server that if it doesnt drop somewhere, and it really goes cost 2million for the matts alone, no one will be buying it on my server. everyone will be rollin jc's for this. besides look at the diffrence between dalarans wooly mammoth cost and the cost for sandstone drake mount matts. not that big even though its from 2 diffrent expansions.the panther dont even do something special like the drake does carrying 2 people. they just have it set like this so no one buys the item until they can think of a real pricess

Commentaire de 1001102

but in case they do leave it like this, you can expect to get alot of gold in dungeons, since cata ones give you like 83g at 85, at 90 itll be alot more.i can see the mount being so expensive if they make each part account bound. that, and Enchanting and jewelcrafting are about to take over the World, of warcraft, since now alchemists can only do transmutes once a day now and leveling any armor proffs "except tailoring" is going to be terrible. scribes will have some fun for the first 1-2 weeks but then its all about the jewels, and its all about the enchants. enchanting will be easiest to level since oyu dont have to worry about camping to get herbs and ores before everyone else does. You can peacefully quest and dis the items you dont want and do the same way with dungeons.

Commentaire de 1001102

and as sson as a level my shaman to 75 i can corner the market. i have a habit of stocking up everything i need to level a whole proff, and then leveling the charcter. an enchanter, tailor, alchemist, and jc with the gathering proffs split evenly. and you guys should try out that new addon on WoW interface. where you can do stuff like any cloth you get gets aoutmatically sent to your tailor, and ore to your bs or jc and herbs to your ect. really cool. and another one that helps time you for practicing to do challenge mode

Commentaire de 1005822

Sad part is I will probably grind these to get the mounts, then get a couple more just to vendor....

Commentaire de 1006667

I don't think we'll see this pricing as final. It would be too attractive to vendor this instead of actually using them.

Commentaire de 855988

Doubt the sell price per unit will be 25k, and maybe this item will actually be a drop like Essence of Destruction, or it may be crafted by other professions.

Commentaire de Zaldin

If this will be used in the full game, perhaps it's something CoT related? Looking at the 'Harvested from ancient moments' flavor text it seems logical to me.

Commentaire de QFred

When you look at the gold quest rewards for Pandaria zones, and couple that with the bonus gold for max level players (that works with dailies too), and you'll soon see that gold farming for these kind of values (100k gold) will be just as bothersome as farming for the bike on LK or the drake on Cata. The only problem will be farming for the four of them, but let's hope you can learn the mount and, once you get the four different, the fifth one appears, instead of consuming the actual items.

Commentaire de 984516

i don't care how mutch it will cost, i realy don't, why?
i know i will get it, and have time enough to work my ass of to make it.
look how damn sexy that blingbling dude is man :)

Commentaire de brionl

This is an Orb of great power and great mystery. Its power is exceeded only by its mystery

Commentaire de sdkphoenix

This costs 20,000g (18,000 with guild perk) from Big Keech, found strolling up and down the path just east of the Golden Pagoda. Not as expensive as people though it'd be.

Edit: It will only cost 280k (252k with guild perk) to make all of the mounts that use this as a reagent. (including the 4 extra panthers for the Jeweled Onyx Panther.)

Commentaire de SoupyTwist

I might be mistaken, but I think this is sold by Big Keech in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms...

Edit: That was a joke...

Commentaire de Cyno01

So yes, these are still 20000g on live, 18000g with Marchandage, Keech doesnt have a faction, so presumably the Goblin racial doesnt apply. This means either of the engineering mounts cost 54000g and change, the JC mounts are 18000g+, and the big daddy, the Panthère d'onyx ornée de joyaux is 72000g (or 144000g if you want all five JC mounts). This is going to be an expensive expansion...

Commentaire de demirael

Coto, the going price on my server has been ~37k for a while now. The recipe is a pain to get but the competition is going nowhere. I prefer to make bikes, roughly same profit for 40% the vendor mat price and other mats are easier to farm.

20k each is insanely expensive even with my knack for making profit.

Commentaire de 389344

The only mystery here is why it cost so much.

Commentaire de 1039504

its too expensive for a ground mount, the epic one needs wings to be worth the effort.

Commentaire de lios

People are selling this mount on my server for as little as 65k. This can't be right... Selling at a loss? Even if you think farming is free, making all the other mats free, it still costs 72k in orbs... Dupes?

Commentaire de Chibchub123

This is a good way to keep you busy in the game, farming gold towards a goal keeps some people playing. In other news... Holy bad comments batman! What we really need... is someone to delete all these down-ranked comments...

Commentaire de 1048668

Okay i am sorry but i cant be the only one that thinks this is wayyyy to much gold lol i cant even afford 1, man i must be doing something wrong when farming gold then lol

Commentaire de catadon22

screw the jeweled onyx panther. ima have twice the fun and still have gold by just farming the mats and buying 1 of these for my ruby panther.

Commentaire de Altyera

Just found one of these in a Paquet-cadeau du Bling-o-tron 4000. This may be a new drop in 5.1, as it's not currently listed as contained by Paquet-cadeau du Bling-o-tron 4000.

Commentaire de 1062076

I just found out that these are so epic that they don't even STACK!

Commentaire de m4gic

The price of this stupid thing is ludicrous. I've never seen more than 6k gold playing WoW. I play for dungeons and raids. Not so I can have some second, fictional job.

Commentaire de Dust

Sells for 18k gold (with guild perk) from Grand Pan Su. I found him at 64, 41 in the Vale.

Commentaire de 1081727

This item being 20kg from Big Keech means that making the Panther mount is hardly worth the cost considering that the mount only sell for about 23kg on my server. Tell me again how this is worth it and how I'm going to make any kind of profit.
/facepalm

Commentaire de kharth

Doesn't stack :(
Also a great item to buy if your over gold cap when doing a server xfer (50k cap wtf blizz)

Commentaire de Dona4

Looking to spend 18k on this mysterious item? Wait a minute!
If you are in luck some fool with 18k too many gold bought a spare and is now trying to get rid of it "cheap" on your local Auction House. Trust me, it happens.

Commentaire de collegedog909

This item has helped me transfer 280k gold from one server to the next.
The current gold limit for paid character transfer is 50k at level 90. patch 5.1

I bought a couple handfuls of these on Hydraxis and sold them on Area 52 for around the same price give or take a thousand. Well worth the investment this early in the expansion if you are planning on transferring a character.

Commentaire de Darkchilx

More like Orb of Misery. Mmmm Dat Gold Sink.

Commentaire de 299395

My guildmate just randomly found one listed on the AH for one copper.

One.
Copper.

Someone made a huge mistake, and my guildmate is now 15k richer.

Commentaire de 1082299

I bought 2 of these on the ah for 1800g each. I'm sure the person either didn't know what they had, or made a typing error. Either way it was , my hubbie and I are riding around on 2 new mounts :-)

Commentaire de 580065

How do people come up with 20k gold? My level 90 primary has only made 42000 gp in her entire career!

Commentaire de stickshift

Keep an eye out at the Auction House. I bought one for 15k there...wish I knew the story behind that!

Probably someone who transferred to your server and couldn't take all his gold with him

Ah! Thanks Hele, that makes sense. I was kinda hoping for something a bit more juicy. Like some guy had come home from bar-hopping and suddenly decided he had to make a bunch of jewelcraft mount and bought one too many orbs. Not that I've ever done that or anything...

Commentaire de 901280

Does this item come down in price with reputation? If so, what reputation? Thanks in advance!

Commentaire de nickgsimon

In my server US-Proudmoore there is a dude selling every week like 6 of them for 14,500. How is this possible? It is true that I always wait for his auctions to craft some panthers or even better to flip them again.

http://www.wowuction.com/us/proudmoore/alliance/Items/Stats/83092#tabs=6

But the question is how is this guy doing this, this is nearly impossible from the very low drop rate or the max discount you can get.

Anyone has any clue?

Commentaire de jam5158

I have opened at least 100 Bling gifts and never got one of these!

Commentaire de lizzy323

can you make it at all

Commentaire de alecrezyrk

that's crazy I never even held 18k before what a grind

Commentaire de Orissan

Here is a tip to make the cost of these things less ridiculous: check the AH.
Because they appear in Bling-boxes, if your on a high realm, quite a few of these "free" orbs appear, pushing the price down (and maybe some hackers liquefying poor people).

Whatever the case, just by watching the prices of these while buying my archy fragments, I have found them to be on average anything from 2k to 6k cheaper then if you were to buy it from Keech directly. (Assuming 18k price).

So it may be worth a look if you plan on getting a lot of these.

Commentaire de elaNge

one of these ended up in my guild bank today

the log doesn't say who put it in

it's a true mystery

Commentaire de 423092

Personally, getting quite tired of these purchase-only ultra-expensive items for craftable mounts. I would much rather farm materials (even ridiculous amounts of them), than gold. I like the route they went with the sky-golem, requiring BoP one-craft-per-day items.

Commentaire de 1305666

Got one from Blingtron and asked how much it was worth got:
"I'll buy it for 500g
"600g"
"I'll buy it for 5k"
"12-18k"
"10-16k"
I decided to be kind and take the 5k offer

Commentaire de reshiyo

Received one today from a Blingtron 4,000 gift package in MOP Classic, really cool pull!
