I'm going to assume that this is a new version of our old prisms and will contain random rare gems when opened, or possibly it will continue to contain a Bergkristall, i personally am betting for random gems of rare quality.

Kommentar von RageZero

This will contain one Primal Diamond. This is meant so that alchemists aren't needed anymore to make gems.
However, this looks simulair to the Imperial Silk coccoon (instead of silk itself you get an item first) and will probably contain something next to the Primal Diamond. If it's gems or something else is not known yet.

Dropped one Sun's Radiance for me on the PTR, the Cooldown resets daily.

Kommentar von mayabe

Das Schlangenherz only contains random rare gems.

Bergkristall creates a Primal Diamond without the aid of an alchemist.

Kommentar von mortalwombat024

It dropped a random rare gem for me on ptr, but also a design for a small jade owl! Apparently it's not limited to gems.

Kommentar von slychd

This item can also contain a primal diamond. That is what I received in the first one I made today.

This item seems to be a world drop. I've seen 3 people get it in random dungeons and heard it dropped from mobs in the new daily area and you dont have to be lvl 90 to get it to drop. It takes an Anvil to make, 1 day CD and you get a rare quality gem or the harmony pet patterns this is for LIVE. PTR people have said you can get a meta but unconfirmed on live. This was posted on 5.2 live day. I got it myself at lvl 89 in my second random dungeon of the new patch and only got a river's heart out of it.

Dropped today for me off Gar'lok. Made one as soon as I got back, contained the Jade Owl design :)

Kommentar von BaristanBold

This item does not drop from random mobs. The recipe to make this item drops from random mobs if you have JC at the appropriate level. It can be created once a day and I also confirm that it can contain a Primal Diamond, as that is what I received from my first 1 today, same as Slychd.

Created my first today, looted 1x

Kommentar von uggert

Can confirm that Bergkristall can drop from this.
Got one from my first craft.
Confirmed on live 2013-03-06

My Serpents Heart recipe dropped on my JC during my very first round of Isle of Thunder dailies. My first time crafting one, I received one Rubellit and a Vorlage: Jadeeule! Not bad.

Kommentar von Gadjet

Soo far i got
5xRubellit
next day
1xRubellit
next day
2xRubellit

Soo far range look to be from 5 to 1 on Gem

Today I received a Das Schlangenherz from opening my Das Schlangenherz... I think I might be trapped in a dream state and can't find my spinning top anywhere. Is this Inception?

I found a Bergkristall in the second one.

Kommentar von WebDev

1-1.2% drop for pet recipes doesn't look really promising.
Good luck if u have your JC on an alt, which you don't play frequently :)

Kommentar von OdilePA

With the recent patch, the recipe for serpent's heart and primal diamond drop from mobs really quickly. I got both in less than 10 minutes. I have been making the serpents heart daily for a week now and I have gotten single high level gems and nothing else. No primal diamonds. I am looking for the recipes for jade owl and sapphire cub. I don't know what the drop rate is but suspect it is no more than 1%.

Now it has been nearly 6 weeks. Primal diamond drops reliably every 2 weeks. Still no recipes. Also only 1 gem per day

To create a Das Schlangenherz with Schlangenherz

Option 1 - Prospect Geistereisenerz (by 5's) to obtain Funkelnde Scherbe (30 for 3 Serpentin)

Option 2 - Use 3 Geist der Harmonie to purchase 3 Serpentin

Personal experience: 13 - 02 - 2014 Created my first Das Schlangenherz and upon opening received a Bergkristall

Kommentar von aviectusG

i got the recipie after setting foot to pandaria, after creating it, i got a primal diamond from it.

Kommentar von corners

Anyone notice if primal diamond rate has changed?Im sure it could easily be RNG luck, but i seem to be on a primal diamond streak with this.

Kommentar von gunsotsu

the layout of alot of these guides is frustrating. This item should not be said to drop from Garoshar Grunts; THEY DO NOT EXIST! i am assuming that they are part of a phased quest because i went to the area and all that is there is sha and other orcs. Please change this, thanks.
