This item drops from High Inquisitor Whitemane in Scarlet Monastery. New version of it in Mists of Pandaria.

This epic necklace drops from High Inquisitor Whitemane at the scarlet cathedral on heroic difficulty. It's mainly designed for melee dps classes (warriors, paladins and deathknights).
As it is Whitemanes only epic drop it has a higher itemlevel than the rest of her blue loot. It also seems to have a low droprate.

dropped from whitename on my first LFR run, won it as I was the only plate wearer. seems to have and extremely low drop rate. Would have exchanged it for the bindings or the eye I have been farming it MC and that have a 3% drop chance, this has apparently a 0,3%.
I guess its a good pre-raid item.

The name of this item comes from Greek mythology, being named after Helios, the personification of the sun.

The stat distribution on this necklace is identical to Seelengriffhalsreif off of Gara'jal der Geisterbinder in the Raid Finder version of Mogu'shangewölbe.

I have this item and it shows 2 possible item upgrades, not the 1 that is shown above.
