Aww, only a thousand slaves? With that beastly sword, I hope to command at least 9000...

Kommentar von Frez

It's named very similarly to the new epic items that have a rare chance to drop from the final boss of a Heroic, such as: Tolakesh, Horn des Schwarzen Ochsen and Inelava, Geist der Trunkenheit.

It being BoE is likely temporary. I'm going to guess it will drop off of Xin der Waffenmeister in Mogu'shan Palace.

Kommentar von Trialzero

This weapon has a very simple, clean, and elegant design, it's really quite beautiful for a 2h sword

it's sort of a shame that this weapon and the (seemingly only) other weapon with this model are both BoE, as that means anyone who wants it will either have to hope they get lucky or be ready to pay quite a tidy sum for it on the auction house

Based on the item level i'd say it's a random world drop, since it has the same item level as Mogu'shan Vaults Raid Finder gear, and it would be highly unusual for BoE's to drop in raid finder, or for normal mode to drop BoE's which are lower ilvl than normal mode loot

This item drops from Xin the Weaponmaster who is located in the Mogu'shan Palace heroic dungeon and is currently the best two-handed weapon for DPS Warriors, Paladins and Death Knights outside the raids. It is the same item level as the gear that drops from LFR Mogu'shan Vaults.

According to the official WoW site, it is currently a ~~BoE~~ Binds when picked up item with an extremely low drop rate, so good luck with farming(~~buying~~) it! :)

The name might be a reference to the Pandaren slave-uprising lead by Kang, the Fist of First Dawn, the rebellion that eventually led to the fall of the Mogu empire. Perhaps Mogu'dar was even once wielded by a champion of the Pandaren rebels, before it tragically found it's way into Xin the Weaponmaster's collection.

Or it simply reffers to how the Mogu love their slaves and big-ass swords.

This sword is in the game, and it dropped for me in mogul palace it is a 476 and is just like how its posted on the site.

Kommentar von 1037581

I can confirm this Item indeed drops, I got it from the last boss in mog's palace. can provide a screen shot and will

Kommentar von zknm7

Glad to hear that this actually drops, even if the chance for it to drop seems rather miniscule... That being said, thank heavens for transmog, as this is one wimpy looking/ugly azz sword...

Kommentar von 848198

This is a great weapon, with one of the worst models I've seen in a long time. This model is the reason for Transmog. Get it for the stats, and transmog it for the UGLY.

Kommentar von Kasul

The sword is in game an ddropped, and due to blizzards awesome loot rules on gear it was ninja'd by the tank.

Kommentar von 1048195

Dropped on First Mogushan palace run >.<

Kommentar von Sylkae

One of the only few options that 2H DPS users have that is at least 476 ilvl. The other's being Sternenberster from Elegon or Sternenberster from LFR where you can also use coin(s) as many as you have per run in LFR. Lastly Shin'ka, Vollstreckung der Herrschaft from Sha der Angst that isn't even released yet.

Kommentar von Duckz

Drop confirmed, even though it does not exist in any loot table, and yes, for your own and everyone else's sake, TRANSMOG IT! It looks absolutely terrible.

Had this drop today. I being a ret pally with no raid gear needed this immediately as I was the only dps in the group that could use it. Until the warrior tank needed as well and won. Now I am still stuck with my *!@# gear. :'(

Kommentar von qnasheR

Dropped for me once and the tank rolled on it and of course won it.
I must admit i was a little sad ...as a ret.

Kommentar von 1062865

This dropped for me today as a Ret Pala. I was in a group with a DK tank, and he needed it and won. I had been hoping for it to drop for a while, and I was sooo disappointed. But then he just traded it to me without me even asking him, saying, "I'm sorry I didn't see that you needed it too." Some people are awesome :)

Kommentar von 126811

it is in the dungeon journal, look better

Kommentar von 1071185

The upgrade info is wrong here. I won this last night and upgraded it to ilvl 484 with 1500 Justice Points. I was shocked and thrilled. I wonder now if the other MoP dungeon epics are the same.

Kommentar von 1079406

Goes PERFECTLY with Paladin Tier 4 set. I neeeeed this.

Kommentar von Szween

Togeather with the other epic weapons that drops from final bosses in dungeons this can be an alternative for people that don't want to raid.

Kommentar von 500316

The sword is on the loot table, only most people just look at the normal 5 man loot table when it opens up for this boss. After you press Shift+J, select the dungeon, then select the last boss, the Weaponmaster, on the top right hand corner of the loot table, switch the format to (5) Heroic instead of (5) Normal. Walla, the sword appears on the loot table. Wishing blessing on everyone that took the time to look around for another decent 2H weapon in the game!

Kommentar von wolmgph

Lost this to a tank just now..... 0.4%..... nice.

Sword dropped for me a week or ten days ago. Great sword, but after seeing heroic Shin'ka (Shin'ka, Vollstreckung der Herrschaft), it feels a bit mid-range, even upgraded. Luckily we had a druid tank and casters only otherwise, so no ninja BS. Considering the game practically caters to tanks (esp. Pallys), I don't have much sympathy.

Good luck to everyone on this dropping, been running this everyday for 5 weeks now and only seen it drop once and it got ninja'd, beginning to lose hope, .4% chance, they mean it!

Kommentar von 968677

just got this sword on my warrior alt a few days ago

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/dunemaul/Yagface/simple

the best part about this sword, is that its upgradable thru justice points making it a potential 484 ilvl hit/cric sword

Kommentar von jdmaddison

This dropped for me on 03/04/13 in Heroic Mogu'shan Palace. It is upgradeable, interestingly enough, with 1500 Justice Points instead of the more usual 750 Valor Points for Epic items.

Kommentar von sarxos

Dropped on March 14th for Atrian <Intent> on The Scryers. The sword is not a myth!
