Prices are wrong. I went to Livingston Marshal in Northern Stranglethorn (the only vendor in Eastern Kingdom for Alliance which listed the 8g price). Price was 9g instead.

I have a trial account only (no access to Auctionhouse, level 20 cap, 10g cap, no mail, etc.), so I assume this is the largest bag I can get, right?

UPDATE: Price doesn't depend on vendor, but depends on faction reputation level. Base cost is 10g, discount 5% for Friendly, 10% for Honored, 15% for Revered, 20% for Exalted. And you can get 16 slot bags even as a F2P player, but this bag here is probably the easiest to get.

This is the biggest non bind on equip container I've seen in the game that you can get off of a vendor. Since AH prices for 12 slot mageweave bags can be higher than this one (especially with faction discounts) they're a good deal to get big reuseable bags for your alts.

Note that its little brother the Large Brown Sack is only 2 gold (before discounts) for 10 slots, which is a very good cost per size ratio. Even for new characters and trial accounts. Especially since the random dungeon finder gives you just over 1 gold as a bonus for completion even at low levels.
