The "Reagent for" tab shows that it requires 9 Crystallized Earth to create a Eternal Earth, however the way Blizzards spell works is a little misleading.

You "Use" one of the Crystallized Earth's which casts a spell that requires another 9 to create an Eternal. It requires 10 in total.

Ive figured out after about two hours of searching that the best place to farm this is in WG (wintergrasp) there are some of them outside the Alliance Landing Base...im not sure about the horde but u don't have to control WG to be able to see these guys as some people in other posts are referring to. Earthbound Revanant has a 100% chance to drop and they're not that hard to find compared to the Flame Revanants which are right behind a horde base and most horde not saying all but most will pop all the moves they got to kill ya. Another good place to farm Crystallized Earth if you're not a miner is in Sholazar Basin, from Lifeblood Elementals. In just ~5-10 minutes I was able to gather 15+ of them.

Note that you can also place these on your action bars, to make it easier to keep track of them/convert them to eternals.

These drop from Earthbound Revenants in Wintergrasp, which have a 100% drop rate. Funny it's not listed in the Dropped by...

On my server the crystallized earth is starting to get expensive, I recommend farming these from Earthbound Revenants if you need to farm these out. Be sure you control Wintergrasp or the Revenants won't spawn.

For those people getting really annoyed (As I was) at the comments stating you can just farm the Earthbound Revenant as they have a 100% drop rate (And therefore assuming your faction has Wintergrasp or is even slightly capable of winning it), I have a solution:

Even though you cannot see the larger versions of the elemental while your faction isn't controlling Wintergrasp, you can still see the Chilled Earth Elemental regardless of who controls the zone.

I have been farming these for around an hour, as Sholazar Basin's elementals are all over-farmed like you wouldn't believe, and I can safely say they have a decent drop rate, competitive with the other elementals people might want to farm for them.

Also, for an added bonus to those miners out there: Wintergrasp is loaded up with Rich Saronite Deposit, as, again, Sholazar Basin's the place most people go for Saronite, leaving Wintergrasp pretty much abandoned.

So yes, they might not be as good for Crystallized Earth as their larger counterparts, or even a few other elementals throughout Northrend, and there might be better places to farm Saronite, but if you need both (For JC, let's say), Wintergrasp is still the place to go.

I honestly found that a great to farm these (if you have mining and don't control Wintergrasp) is to simply fly around Icecrown and mine whatever Saronite veins you come across. Before this, I tried farming Iron Rune Golems and Rampaging Earth Elementals in Howling Fjord (which wasn't HORRIBLE) but it seemed like I got a lot more from mining the Saronite. Plus - then you can turn around and sell the Saronite ore for a nice penny. Have fun farming! Hope this helps.

If you happen to be a Miner, and you're farming these in Scholazar Basin from the Lifeblood Elementals, go ahead and mine their corpses, sometimes they drop some more Crystallized Earth. Not sure if this has to do with the guild's perk Bountiful Bags, but when I went farming for these, I got a lot more by mining them after dead.

at least for me the best place to farm Crystallized Earth are from Saronite Deposit at Wintergrasp.. almost got 2 per nodes
