This item is a component of Midnight Angler's Grand Line.

To craft Midnight Angler's Grand Line, you need to combine an Angler's Bloomline and an Angler's Glimmerline. These items can be created by combining lower quality fragments (which can be fished up in any Midnight zone), or purchased on the Auction House. All fragments are also purchasable on the Auction House.

Combining the lower quality parts works like this:
100 Shredded Bloomline → 1 Stranded Bloomline
20 Stranded Bloomline → 1 Weak Bloomline
5 Weak Bloomline → 1 Angler's Bloomline

100 Shredded Glimmerline → 1 Stranded Glimmerline
20 Stranded Glimmerline → 1 Weak Glimmerline
20 Weak Glimmerline → 1 Angler's Glimmerline

Angler's Bloomline + Angler's Glimmerline → Midnight Angler's Grand Line

This method means you will need 40,000 Shredded Glimmerline and 40,000 Shredded Bloomline total, if you were to craft every single piece.

2000 Shredded Bloomline/Shredded Glimmerline → 20 Stranded Bloomline/Stranded Glimmerline → 1 Weak Bloomline/Weak Glimmerline
400 Stranded Bloomline/Stranded Glimmerline → 20 Weak Bloomline/Weak Glimmerline → 1 Angler's Bloomline/Angler's Glimmerline

We're a week plus a few days in since Midnight early access launched. I fish a lot in the first few weeks of any expansion to build up my gold.

Here's what I've caught so far, in probably about 30 hours of fishing:

62 x Shredded Glimmerline
58 x Shredded Bloomline
12 x Stranded Glimmerline
3 x Stranded Bloomline

Note that you CAN catch the Bloomlines, which are equivalent to 100 Glimmerlines. I've also only started catching Stranded Bloomlines in the past two days, not at launch, so they may not have been available at launch, or the drop rate may have been boosted.
