In my experience I wasted too much time following the advice of "Go into dungeons solo/with troops"
My most effective method to get 270 in 30-40 minutes: Go to coordinates 65.02 12.71 where we will find an Elite zone, where the Faerin side quests take place, here it is as if all the Elites had a 100% drop of Nerubian Blood, I simply made a farming party although alone with Hunter BM 560 I was able to kill them without problem

Just my quick notes on Siesbarg

It is a mount which is rewarded after a quest-chain. The starter-item Vial of Tka'ktath's Blood is dropped by Tka'ktath in Azj-Kahet on top of a big Platform.

Tka'ktath is quite tanky, has a long respawn and I'd recommend doing him in a group, everyone in the group, even a Raid can loot the item it is personal loot.
So if it is up help your fellow grinders out and open a Custom Group with "Tka'ktath UP" and get as many people in as possible.

After acquiring the Questitem it will send you to Shalba. IMPORTANT: The NPC will only talk to you once you have reached a certain Point in the Mainstory-Line in Azj-Kahet with The Severed Threads, it should enable you to talk to many Nerubians in the City. (I don't know the specific Main Story Quest necessary).

Quest 1: Those Are Chitin Words
I recommend going to the Isle of Dorn and grind the Nerub there they can hyperspawn and have a chance to drop Crackling Shard. This spot is best used in a group.

Grind 1500 Nerubian Chitin and get back to Shalba.

Some commenters also recommended going Solo-Follower dungeons as an alternative for the Dorn-Groupfarm.

Quest 2: Venom? More Like Get 'Em
Same procedure as Quest 1, just grind 1000 Nerubian Venom and get back to Shalba.

Someone recommended farming Khak'ik&Rhak'ik for this step it is a Rare Duo. The drop-rate is supposed to be quite high, and they are soloable.

Quest 3: A Small Ocean's Worth of Blood
This one was a bit trickier to grind, you need 500 Nerubian Blood, which only drop from Ascended Nerubians and Skyrazors. I tested multiple strategies, most ended up being very slow (Northern Azj-Kahet, in the City of Threads, Dungeonfinder).
The by FAR best strategy was doing Ara-Kara, City of Echoes as a Solo-FOLLOWER Dungeon, kill all the mobs you can find it should yield you between 50-120 Nerubian Blood per run.

After you collected the items, bring them back to Shalba, after that you will have a short walk behind their house and get your beautiful mount!

Doing City of Echoes and clearing up all ads net's around 90 per run and takes ~18 minutes. Skip small flying things in the first "room" and just focus on all the bigger ads, clear everything after 1st and 2nd boss as they mostly give you the blood. Remember to loot during combat do the bodies do not despawn with loot on them (had it happen a lot).

I got 89 Nerubian Blood on my first follower run on City of Echoes. They dropped off any elite mobs excluding bosses so just kill everything. Be aware of the alarming scarabs. If they get their alarm off, they pull everything in the vicinity.

There are so many different opinions on what is the best farm for this, and this one will be no different. But from my own experience going with the follower route-City of Echoes is better simply for ease of mobs, and it doesn't have the despawn glitch like City of Threads. You can at least finish killing a group without your loot vanishing, taking that one annoying step of looting in between a murder spree. That alone is worth it to me.

Looks like the drop rate is nerfed (i am checking in 11.0.5~7). What worked for me was keep spamming City of threads in followers dungeon.It was faster than Ara kara IMO. cheers

As of Jan 2nd '25, City gets about 35 blood up to the first boss. Ara did not seem to be any better up to 2nd boss. Farming the 2 rare spawns from the previous step only drop 1 vial of blood, so not viable. City/Ara still seem to be the best way to do this step.

So I decided to do this and did City of Echoes for the first 1500. (Nerubian Chitlins) City of Threads for the second 1000 items (nerubian venom) and City of echoes for the third and final 500 items (Nerubian Blood) This was straightforward, the followers did a great job of assisting me and overall it was pretty easy. Did not take too much time. Best way to do this chain.

Running CoE for this wasn't too bad for me. Up to the first boss none of the non-elites dropped blood. The elites nearly always - but not always - dropped blood. The three mini-bosses alI dropped one blood. Upon to second boss, again, the elites mostly but not always dropped a blood but in this stage the non-elites also had a chance to (but felt not as much as elites). Up to third boss I think it is just elites and, same again, they mostly but not always dropped a blood. The three main bosses NEVER dropped any blood.

Average was about 96 per run. Progress, including how many up to each boss, shown below in case anyone is minded to optimise. (I didn't record 'splits' per boss for the first run).

Finished off in CoT as was done with this dungeon by then!
