You turn these in at LHC in lots of 30 for Insignia of the crusade.

Insignias can be turned in for Craftsman's writ or in larger quantities (based on rep level) for armaments of the dawn (either superior or epic quality)

At 80, turn them in for 1000 rep first turn in, and a lot less after that :P

The quest has been removed in which these were used for rep.

They are not gray, and still drop like crazy, so where do you turn them in at..

Blizzard sent me an in game email that you can still turn them in just have to know where to loook...and they wont say where...

Stirling example of quality support from Blizzard GMs. Too lazy to check, so you get a half-baked rubbish answer.

Blizzard makes me cry.

In preparation for creating a goblin mage in Cataclysm, I wanted to stock up on a few things, starting last year.
.

I bought all of the pages for the Stranglethorn Vale book quests -- they revamped the quest to only need 1 page.

I stockpiled Crypt Fiend Parts and Bone Fragments for Argent Dawn rep -- they removed the quests for turn in.

I got all 3 map fragments in Tanaris to make the map to the pirate treasure -- they removed the quest from the game.

What's the lesson? Never plan ahead when expansions are involved. :)

Another couple of lessons could be:

1: If something (like quests) require anything other than rambling senselessly from PUG to PUG while you powerlevel and max out your gear, you should expect it to be removed in the next expansion.

2: If something requires a minimum of knowledge of Azerothian geography and/or sociology, consider it gone.

3: If something does not have to do with endgame balance, it's just not interesting. Altoholics are, well, altoholics.

4: If something takes time, knowledge and preparation it's not worth doing: Farm the money and buy the cr¤p at AH.

5: Quest lines accross continents? From world quests to dungeon quests? To be abolished by the next expansion.

The one step Blizz has taken lately to make the gaming experience more whole (requiring that you had actually found a dungeon entrance yourself) was removed in the next patch. QED, I'm afraid.

Silly Blizzard. Drops the NPCs to turn in these things (Crypt Fiend Parts), yet doesn't take them out of game! So now, ya just fill a couple slots in your bag while out questing and instancing. And they aren't worth much vendoring... 97 silver for 47 Crypt Fiend Parts . But I guess it adds coinage. Guess now, ya just get a tabard and grind instances for rep or something. But yes, many are correct. Blizzard cares very little for the Average player. It's all about Elitist PVPers ( look at the cata profession items. Mostly pvp gear that you cannot reforge into useful stats for instancing) and end game Elitist raiding. Don't' think if you're an average player and not an Elitist that you won't' be kicked from a group. You will, even in cata heroics. Swift move Blizzard exlax.

Savage Frond

No need to bank this stuff anymore. Hallelujah!

I just noticed today that this item is now grey. That tells me it is nothing more than vendor trash. Got rid of all I had laying around. A previous responder said that the flask of big mojo is now vendor trash. This was previously an ingredient in the LW recipe for big voodoo cloak. I checked and sure enough, that ingredient is no longer required to make the thing!
