You can farm these out from primalists in Azure Spans. Each turn of 5 will give you a skill point to learn Furbolg language.
There's also item Intact Scribe Stick which has the same value as 5 of these, and gives you directly a language skill point.

Every 125 Liberated Furbolg Artifacts will give you a reputation level.

They are BoP so happy griding... oh Vanilla times. There's also an achivement related to this, Winterpelt Conversationalist.

A really good place to farm these is in Azure Span, in the Vakthros Summit (Near where the World Boss spawns)

The mobs you're looking for are Ritual Scouts and Ritual Guardians - Drop down around 78,38, and farm away. The Scouts patrol, and the Guardians climb up outta the little swirly fire circles on the ground, so you just need to run over it, and they appear

It took me about 90 minutes to get everything I needed to get the Furbolg language skill up to 100. You'll need 600 of these artifacts, but... there's a small chance either of the Rituals will also drop Intact Scribe Sticks, which is used to gain one language skill level per stick, which helps because you need five of these artifacts to go up one level .. Depending on your luck, it may take a little longer, or a little shorter to get what you'll need, but all in all, it's fairly fast

It then took about an hour or so longer to do the followup quests that get you to exalted, so you'll be all set

You need 500 from Neutral to Exalted, since every 25 skill levels or every 125 Liberated Furbolg Artifacts will give you a reputation level, through a short chain quest (around 3-4 quests per chain) that awards all the reputation for that level in the final quest.
Remember that each Intact Scribe Stick counts as 5 Artifacts, as it gives 1 skill point per turn in.

Liberated Furbolg Artifacts, along with Intact Scribe Stick, increase your ability to speak Furbolg language.
I farmed in Ritual Scout and Ritual Guardian. It took a little over half an hour to farm 600 Liberated Furbolg Artifacts and 18 Intact Scribe Stick.
It was more than enough to get the maximum skill that opens a new permanent language for the character and achieve Winterpelt Conversationalist.

Took about 3 hours to do all the farming and the secondary quests. The rewards are worth it IMO I've been wanting to be a Furblog for as long as I played this game. Dream come true.

If you are like me and you never got the email to resume the questline with this faction and be able to farm the artifacts (after 2050 rep) . . . . go to your Adventure Guide => Suggested Content . . . in that list at some point you will see the Quest Academic Assistance which is the one you need.

A much better place to farm these is Imbu, the location of the "For Imbu!" world quest. This zone is extremely dense of mobs, most of which can drop the artifacts (pretty much everything aside of elementals).

The area is also more dangerous though as multiple packs contain strong mobs, so precaution is advised if you are not well geared. The Primal Earthshapers are particular annoying as they frequently cast a 3s stun.

For easy farming if you don't have a lot of damage, or if you don't wat to move around a lot, Ruvin Stonegrinder in the cave at about 72.27 39.18 drops one every time, much like the guy with the dragon skulls he also respawns pretty quickly.

Edit to add, he takes my lvl 70 preservation evoker 25 seconds to kill, and respawns within 60 seconds.

I've just farmed 448 of these in probably like 1hr20mins. Can confirm the ritual scouts in Vakthros Summit are the best for farming. There are often patrols of 2 scouts patrolling and respawn times are very fast. You can easily kite one or 2 and more scouts spawn. Goodluck.

It took me ~40 minutes to get a sufficient amount of Intact Scribe Stick and Liberated Furbolg Artifacts. I farmed at Vakthros Summit killing Ritual Scounts and Guardians. Each drops 2-10 Artifacts and a decent chance for a Scribe Stick. As a 424ilvl SP, I could easily take 2-3 Elites at the time, and it's entirely possible to kite and kill mobs one by one. The trick is to avoid stuns - brown cone thingy on the floor. Remember to step on a fire swirly thing to summon Ritual Guardian.

There are 4 Scouts that spawn just outside the cave at "/way 78.78 39.39".

Makes for easy semi-afk farming for a 405 ilvl Guardian Druid.

Is there anything to do with these once you're at 100% with the language? I've got 100+ and 16 sticks left. Whichever addon I have churned through the artifacts till it was done. Still have those left over, and it never touched the sticks.

Would rather not just toss them, but don't want to waste bag space if they're not worth anything.

So I had a try with the Ritual Scout over at Vakthros, but they are way too spread out to be very efficient to me at least.

But there's a great way! Whenever the Elite World Quest For Imbu! is up, pick it up, use the built in group finder for it (with sweet auto-invites), just kill mobs within the area for the world quest, once you're done with the quest, don't leave the group, just keep going. While I was doing it, I think my group was the only group doing For Imbu!, so it was full all the time. I didn't really try to follow them around, I just went around killing mobs and sometimes got help, sometimes found lootable coprses. I way overdid it and got 305 spare Artifacts, but I think you'll be done in 30 minutes granting you're playing during an active time. Just remember to say no when the group finder asks to convert to raid! Raid means no shared tags, so less loot for you!

if you have been putting off this farm because it sounds time consuming, its pretty fast now and will only get faster as we get better gear.
I solo farmed this as a 422 BM hunter and i just focused on the ritual guardians as recommended and i unintentionally way overshot the rep grind after about 35 min of farming. I ended up with 19 scribe sticks and about 470 artifacts.
if you have decent gear and can pull groups of elites its pretty quick. be sure to walk over the swirly fire pools on the ground to spawn extra ritual guardians. usually by the time i finished off a full rotation everything had started to respawn again.
I fond this to be much more straight forward than farming around the "for imbu" area. less stuns and higher drop rates. i was getting about 20-25 artifacts per pull.

(edit) still working as of 3/21/2024. if you are not getting drops, make sure you did all the intro quests as rep items will not drop if you have not done it yet and it is a per-character questline. Also make note that only humanoids drop these so if you are trying to farm the nearby elemental as well its a waste of time.

Camp Antonidas at around 56 69 was a nice spot to farm for these. A bunch of non elites with good density

kill the scouts 1 at a time, they drop 6 or 7

pull 2 at a time, they still drop 6

if you're geared, each kill lasts 5-6 seconds (I started the rep at 506 ilevel)

it's..... might as well.... better to do it 1 mob at a time

Hey guys, here u have all in one place:

1st as Aristodamos said best farm is around /way 72, 36.
Kill only Ritual Scout they have 98% drop rate, drops 3-7 Liberated Furbolg Artifacts and Intact Scribe Stick around 14% drop rate
They kind spawn slowly but pay attention on lava circle on ground they spawn(jump out) from it, I didn't know that when I started farm

2nd each 5 Liberated Furbolg Artifacts or 1 Intact Scribe Stick give you 1 language skill, when you reach 100 you learn new permanent language Knowledge: Winterpelt(Furbolg language).
IT IS NOT giving you reputation, but its unlocking side quests

3rd if you are not tank gear up first so it will be much easier to deal with farm.
As shadow priest ilvl 492 took me less then 1h to farm and do all quest's.

Just stay and farm until u get enough Liberated Furbolg Artifacts combine with Intact Scribe Stick.
Example 450 Liberated Furbolg Artifacts and 10 Intact Scribe Stick.
You don't need to over farm because once you learn Furbolg language you don't need Liberated Furbolg Artifacts and Intact Scribe Stick, sell them, don't throw them like me :o)

Don't be like me and not realize it stacks to 250. I kept opening my bags and only seeing 249, not noticing that it's been at 249 for the past 20 minutes...

I wound up having 650 artifacts and 22 scribe sticks. Only need 500 or so

I started this in DF to earn Taivan but am just coming back to it now to get a mog, but none of the artifacts are dropping from the Primalists in Vakthros, does anyone know why?

As of TWW, the ritualists at Vakthros around 78/40 have a long respawn compared to how fast you kill them. Innu, around 56/65, was far faster and way more mobs. Took maybe 15 minutes to farm the 500 I needed down there.

To check your progress, open your spell book, General tab, hover over Languages, and look at the Furbolg line. Every 5 artifacts raises it by one point.
