Seems to have been hotfixed (the day after launch day) to be either a daily or weekly drop. After unlocking another cache, I have had 0 additional fragments drop after 30min of farming

I don't know if the drop rates were made much worse, but I had five Fragments in my bag and have been farming for my last one for about an hour with zero drops.

Monsters spawned from Void Tears seem to have a lot higher drop chance for these.
Got 3 in a row, some guildies had good drop rates from them as well.

You need 6 Voidwarped Relic Fragment to craft into a Cursed Relic which opens a Black Empire Coffer.

Acolyte of N'Zoth for me seemed to have the best drop rate for the relics. Down near neferest in uldum had alot of the acolytes and at 50 87 there is a group of them that respawns fast for an event.

I got most of them from mantids around and in the Big Blossom Mine in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms,at 69.99,58.85,but really not worth the hustle and time spent.

EDIT: Based on the recent down votes, this appears to have been fixed.

If you have five relic fragments and can't get the sixth to drop, check your inventory and bank for a different type of relic fragment from a previous assault. It appears that you can only have six Vale relic fragments, even if one is of a different type. This is possible if you kill a group that drops two relic fragments while you are holding five if you loot one (making six), make your relic to open the chest, and THEN LOOT THE SEVENTH FRAGMENT! Don't do that. I discovered this after over 100 kills trying to get the Voidwarped Relic Fragment to drop. I remembered the mogu relic fragment from the previous week, dropped it, and had a Voidwarped Relic Fragment within five kills.

Vale of Eternal Blossoms farming spot: Tu Shen Burial Ground (name is visible from the world map). Acolyte of N'Zoth have a 25% drop chance, but killing everything in the area gave me all six in less than 8 minutes as an ilvl 459 blood DK. That also just happens to be where one of the chests spawns. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

Loot tables appear to be messed up in 10.0 pre-patch. I looted all 6 of these in Uldum from a chest and Aqir mobs in Ankhaten Harbor while the Aqir assault was up and I was trying to get aqir relic fragments. There is a Black Empire assault currently happening in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms so possibly that's affecting the loot table for the mobs that are not associated with this type of assault.

Not sure if I am alone with this, but I am unable to farm these fragments whenever it is the middle assault in Uldum (so only N'zoth forces I guess?)

If it is on the right or left side of the zone I can farm the fragments just fine together with Aqir and Tol'vir fragments.

This has been the case for a month now ever since I started doing assaults.

Just a really annoying bug that I have reported multiple times now and I have killed enough mobs during these assaults that speaking of a statistical anomaly of never receiving a SINGLE drop during this one and only assault is not possible.
