I had better luck getting this from Corpselouse Mother and Corspelouse Spawnling in Maldraxxus Forgotten Wounds just south of Kere's Rest flight landing. About a 50% chance of drop rate. And if you get tired ot farming those you have a 1 in 4 or 5 chance of it dropping from the Greater Ardenmoth in Ardenweald.

As you will probably need I will list you here all kind of meat in shadowlands

Aethereal meat Aethereal Meat (many mobs can drop this but mostly from Larions (mid lion mid hawk) Larion or Gildfur Roamer in Bastion map)

Raw seraphic wing Raw Seraphic Wing (mostly from flying creatures like wind serpents Languishing Etherwyrm in Bastion map)

Tenebrous ribs Tenebrous Ribs ( mostly from Boars Predatory Bloodtusk or Scavenging Bonetusk in Maldraxus map). Can drop from horse creatures in another maps but with a low %.

Phantasmal haunch Phantasmal Haunch (mostly from Carapid Gorms Bloated Gorm in Aderwealth map at north-east and also Carapids Spinemaw Gorger inside Mist of Tirna Scithe dungeon)

Shadowy shank Shadowy Shank (mostly from Carapid Gorms Gorm Ravener in Aderwealth map and/ or from Spinemaw Gorger inside Mist of Tirna Scithe dungeon). This meat has worst droprate than others.

Creeping Crawler meat Creeping Crawler Meat (mostly from wasps Gorged Decayfly in Anderweald map or Fetid Hornet in maldraxus some)

The order you will need that kinds of meat is the order as you gonna level up your first character; Bastion, Maldraxus, Anderwealth, Revendreth. So take a time in each map while you level up to farm some of those items.

Pretty sure the percentage drop rate on Spiritwing Glimmerfly is wrong. Is says the drop rate is 36% and I have killed 30 of them and the only meat they dropped was the occasional creeping crawler meat.

Killed over 100 Corpselouse Mothers without a single Haunch drop. They were only dropping Creeping Crawler Meat.

Just an FYI for those of you looking to farm haunches to make feasts, with the drop of 9.0.5 phantasmal haunch was removed from the loot table of most of the monsters on this list of things that drop them. Prices are skyrocketing because these are very scarce outside of satchels. I'm assuming this was a mistake and will be hotfixed asap.

For science a group of us farmed in ardenweald for an hour and then in maldraxxus. The only mob that dropped haunches for us that was listed as dropping them on wowhead was the rotdust bats.

Does anyone have a good farming location for this? My best find so far was the mobs west of Theater of Pain. Still skimpy results, though.

in 9.1 Patch it drop like a candy in Korthia. or more.
Price drop a lot from 45-60g in my SV to 10-15g

I killed so many gorms down south in Gormhive in Ardenweald with no luck. Not a single haunch. Trying to get 20 for Ember Court: Divine Desserts because, by the laws of the Shadowlands, all desserts must have meat in them.

If you are tolerably well-geared (and I'm a solo player at ilvl 254) you can solo elite bugs in Tirna Scithe. Off on the far end starting around 24 62.10 are elite acidmaws, gorgers, and scythehorns that drop phantasmal haunches on every kill.

The most relevant use for this meat as of Midnight is as an ingredient in Caramel Mint Noodle Dish, a disgusting sounding, but pleasant to look at Decor item, crafted by the Cooking skill.
