Can be fished up in Azsuna

Mainly fished up in Azsuna's open salt waters and occasionally in Dalaran. Used for cooking research. Schools can be found at Ruins of Nar'thalas (by Nar'thalas Academy as well as . And also provided via world quests.

Edit: Was out in Farondale this morning, and found some in fresh water as well. It would appear we stand to be both wrong and correct at the same time! So...

Cursed queenfish can be found in various locations around Azsuna. In BOTH salt and fresh water areas. Occasionally fished up in Dalaran at Margross Retreat and can be obtained at various locations via world quests. Happy fishing...

Indeed there are schools of queenfish in Azsuna, found 2 @ 62 .60 and 41 .51

Since there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information regarding the pools of these, I thought I'd share my experience so far. I have found several pools in the ponds around Felblaze Ingress and the waters around Nar'Thalas Academy, and the river around Llothien. Take note though, that some of those around Nar'Thalas can be quite troublesome and require water walking, fishing raft etc in order to be fished from.

Fishing in Legion looks to be about as big a pain as cooking. Yes Cursed Queenfish are in Azsuna but so are Black Barracuda. My catch rate was about 2:1 black:queen (what's in my bags) but it seemed like the pool rate was more like 3:1. Also, I seem to remember just random fishing USED to net at least a few of the fish you were trying to catch IF you were in the correct area. This didn't happen in this case. All silver mackerel. As an extremely casual player, i.e. I only play a couple hours a day, maybe every other day, running around looking for pools is completely out of the question. I would have had better yields killing animals in the area and gathering their meat rather than trying to find pools. I haven't tried this in other areas for other fish, just my character that has the highest fishing level (roughly 700) which is a level 103 Warlock that I started in Azsuna. He also has the raft and the pole from pandaland. Hope this helps someone trying to use fish to level cooking. My suggestion...don't. Or shell out piles of gold on the AH to buy them.

Is it just me or is there a SERIOUS lack of fish pools in Legion? I only thought I hated fishing before.

So far, I can confirm pools around those areas for Cursed Queenfish
/way 52 33
/way 60 30
/way 62 26
/way 63 22
/way 53 41 , area full of mobs there, there is an underwater rock beside the wall you can stand on and fish.
/way 54 35, need a raft or walk above water to get it.
/way 39 40

Catching these is probably the most productive to level up the fishing rod. Eventually you will get the brooch.Usually you get a 10 minute hidden pool from the brooch and with in that 10 minutes you will get another brooch. By far the quickest way to level the rod.

These seem to be fresh water fish and i mostly found their pools in the tiny rivers that flow through Azsuna. On the shores and saltwater areas are Black Barracuda pools.
