When you travel past the edge of a zone, the player enters the 'In Between' instead of having a traditional loading screen. The experience exists to convey the vastness of space between zones, and highlight the player's special ability to traverse between them. This space is also meant to feel tied to the visuals of the 'Corpse Run' a player sees when dead and returning to their body.
This was such a challenging project— huge giant colossal thank you to every other department that was involved.

Anima Streams for the Anima Conductor feature accessible by each Covenant. These zone-spanning transparent cables (!!!) of Anima were a huge challenge, both artistically and technologically. They would not have been possible without the fantastic work of Caroline Sugianto, the engineer who turned this crazy artist-idea into a real feature.
