Legendaries: a blue post clarified they can't be used :(

Stat-less gear: no starter, holiday, or vendor-bought gear. (How cool would it be to have a tank in a level 1 shield?)

Armor/weapon disguises that don't use the accepted type for a class: DKs as rogues, hunters as warlocks, casters wielding large axes, etc.

Silly items: gear in the shapes of fish, flowers, or frying pans.

We've updated this guide in 4.3 to include transmog set links and image mouseovers for item sets in the last table.

Transmogrification: Tier Armor covers all class-specific tier sets--both PvE and PvP.

Void Storage

Void Storage will open up 80 slots of long-term storage space.

Vaults will be located in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. They can be accessed by talking to Vaultkeepers.

Items that can be placed inside Void Storage include soulbound items and Battle.net Account Bound items. Simply drag and drop them into the bank.

Of course, as the Vaultkeepers are Ethereals, there will be a price for depositing and withdrawing. This fee, displayed at the bottom of the screen, will change based on the amount of items moved. There is no additional fee to keep an item in Void Storage for a very long time.

Void Storage is not intended to be a second bank for frequently-used items. Therefore, any items placed in Void Storage will have all enhancements removed: enchants, gems, sockets, reforged stats. (So if you've got something like Power of the Scourge on tier 3 shoulders or Enchant Weapon - Mongoose on Warglaives, you probably don't want to put these in storage.)

A new search feature in 4.3 will allow players to quickly search their banks, bags, and Void Storage for elusive items. By typing the name of an item--or even a word--into a search box, your open inventories will be filtered, only displaying matching results.

Top Picks: Dungeon/Raid Gear

Sometimes there's gear that looks like nothing you've ever seen before--maybe it reflects the lore of a specific encounter, looks like removed vanilla gear, or is an absurd color combination. I'm going to highlight some of the more interesting items from dungeons that I've come across in mostly vanilla and TBC, but I'm sure each reader has their own favorites as well. In later tiers, the 'offset' items looked more like class tier and less unique, which I'm not covering below: saving the look-alike tier for the next guide! Non-Specific Tier Sets

Everyone has been asking me about featuring matching quasi-sets without class restrictions. You know, stuff with 5 different names that isn't officially related, but together looks exactly like a tier set your class can't normally equip. Purple Judgment, blue Bloodfang, etc. I think they're awesome, but it will take us a few more days to code all the items that mimic class tier. In the meantime, here are some non-class specific sets. Even if your class doesn't benefit from a set bonus, you can equip it.
