Season 1 begins on December 13th (14th for EU), and in this week's GG WoW Video, Dratnos and Tettles break down what's coming and cover some other topics that are relevant as we go into the first reset of the real season!
To begin, the raid, Vault of the Incarnates, is
opening on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficultie
s, with LFR wings opening in the following weeks. This change from the normal release cadence will be interesting, though Dratnos and Tettles advise most guilds to begin with Normal and work their way up from there rather than starting with Heroic like they may see top guilds do!
The second
Spark of Ingenuity
becomes available this reset as well, with extras coming out every 2 weeks thereafter. These can be combined with Primal Infusions or Concentrated Primal Infusions to make gear as strong as item level 418, though that requires doing some Mythic-equivalent content, a good crafter, and a bunch of Primal Chaos. Dratnos and Tettles have some recommendations for good starting points to use your first sparks, such as 2-handed Weapons, the Elemental Lariat necklace, 1-handed Weapons, and Rings.
Primal Storms are also coming, with rewards that are likely to be mostly irrelevant for players that have made it past item level 350 in the first two weeks, though there are some cool cosmetic rewards and important recipes that can be found in this content.
Tuning has also been announced, with Tanks getting a
blanket 10% nerf
to Damage Reduction, and some small tweaks landing on other specs. What do you think about these changes? Are you excited for Dragonflight Season 1? Let us know in the comments!
