Midwinter Blight is upon us once again, and all through Sanctuary, demonic creatures are stirring!
From November 19—December 3, the Red-Cloaked Horror has a chance to spawn in Helltide instead of a Hellborne. It also can appear in Infernal Hordes and Dungeons when you least expect it. Defeating the Red-Cloaked Horror and its minions grants increased rewards such as Burning Cinders, Aether, and the return of the highly coveted
Décoction de Giléon
.
Midwinter Blight Event Guide Midwinter Blight Returns
Décoction de Giléon
made its first appearance in last year's Midwinter Blight event, but has received a significant upgrade and is now a
Legendary Elixir.
For 30 minutes, players can get a massive
20% more damage, 15% increased Experience, and Enemies will drop Herbs and Crafting Materials.
This is a huge buff compared to the previous Life and Lucky hit buff of the prior year.
Additionally, it should be noted that since Gileon's Brew is an Elixir, meaning it will stack with the Season 6 Seething Opals, such as
Opale bouillonnante de tourment
. This is a huge boon for those looking to make it to 300 Paragon during Season 6: Season of Hatred Rising, granting a combined staggering
30% Experience
for their duration.
Even though the Elixir is now drop-only instead of purchasable from Gileon himself, it's certainly worthwhile to go out of your way to grab a few vials as you encounter the Red-Cloaked Horror, and enjoy the holiday festivities while you're at it! Best of all, everyone can
claim a Midwinter gift
to receive a few of these Elixirs for free: head to Kyovashad to receive yours.
