Today's Battle for Azeroth mount preview covers Dark Iron Dwarf mounts--the
Chien du magma sombrefer
and

. The first mount is awarded to players that complete the recruitment scenario for Dark Iron Dwarves and the second mount is for Dark Iron Paladins.

Core Hound mounts are fitting for Dark Iron Dwarves as they previously served Ragnaros and lived in Blackrock Mountain.
Magmadar
, a boss in Molten Core, is one of the most famous core hounds and also one of the earliest bosses in WoW.
A notable trash mob in Molten Core,

The
Dark Iron Dwarf Race
is an Allied Race coming in Patch 8.0 after players complete the War Campaign.
This Alliance race can play Hunter, Mage, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior. The Dark Iron Shamans come with totems resembling anvils!
The racials are:
Dungeon Delver
: While indoors, move 4% faster.
Fireblood
: Removes all poison, disease, curse, magic, and bleed effects and increases your primary stat by 100 for each effect removed. Lasts 8 sec. 2 min cooldown.
Forged in Flames
: Reduces damage taken from Physical attacks by 1%.
Mole Machine
: While outdoors, summon a Mole Machine that tunnels through the earth. 30 min cooldown.
Mass Production
: Items crafted by Blacksmithing are created twice as quickly.
Customization options include face tattoos and flaming hair! You can preview all options in the
Wowhead Dressing Room
.
For reaching max level, Dark Iron Dwarf players are awarded a set of
cosmetic armor
.
