Although Patch 10.2 has been released for a few weeks now, secrets are still being discovered! Folks from the
WoW Secret Finding Discord
poked around the Emerald Dream and found a hidden Warglaive -
Alara’shinu
, a fel-themed version of the 10.2 World Quest warglaive! Thanks to Starverse, Ryldor, Scarseeker and Saltarith of <The Veiled Glaive> for the tip.
If you aren't interested on the appearance, this is also a good starter weapon for any Demon Hunter alts, as it is
ilvl441 Veteran 1/8
, upgradeable all the way to ilvl463. Learn how to obtain this Warglaive in this post.
Balancing Nature and Fel
As a Demon Hunter, speak with
Landeron Gangrefurie
at the Central Encampment in the Emerald Dream. He's just East of the Dream Wardens barracks. For Demon Hunters, Landeron will have special dialogue which will trigger the events that start this secret.

Greetings, adventurer.
> How do you fare, fellow Demon Hunter?
Not well, I would say.
I never thought I would be standing here. I've only ever heard rumors of the Dream, but never knew its wonders.
I turned my back on it. I accepted the fel. I became the very force that sought to destroy it. I... betrayed this land.
I feel as though at any moment the very wind will hurl me from this place. Back to the temple on the Broken Shores, where I belong.
Landeron's dialogue gives the hint for the next portion of the secret - The Broken Shore. Head there - The exact area is the area where you originally faced Caria Felsoul for the Vengeance artifact back in Legion, the
Lames de guerre des Aldrachi
. This is just north of the Aalgen Point flight path - Enter the Lost Temple through the cracks, and in there, you will see a green circle containing a memory of Landeron Felfury.

Landeron Felfury: What have I done!
Landeron Felfury: We always speak of what we have given, but have any of us thought just once about what has been TAKEN?
Landeron Felfury: Imagine being so... arrogant as to portray our lust for power as selflessness.
Landeron Felfury: I feel as if I am going to be sick... I cannot.
Landeron Felfury: I cannot think... I must travel to Val'sharah. Perhaps Elune's guidance will lead me to the right path.
With Landeron's memory guiding us, our next step is to head to Val'sharah - More specifically, the Temple of Elune. Inside the temple, you will witness another memory of Landeron. After the memory plays out, a stag will appear carrying his Warlgiave, allowing you to corrupt it and loot
Alara’shinu
!

Landeron Felfury says: What now?
Landeron Felfury says: I have meditated endlessly. Whatever light Elune may offer to illuminate my path, I will gladly follow!
Landeron Felfury says: But... her temple offers only silence.
Landeron Felfury says: Enough. This was a fruitless effort. I am going home.
Landeron Felfury says: Perhaps some rest will serve me better than waiting for guidance that will never arrive.
Special Visual Effects
Alara'shinu is not only a fel-tinged nature warglaive, using
Ruée fulgurante
/
Frappe infernale
/
Retraite vengeresse
with it also leaves a trail of flowers behind! You do
NOT
need to have it directly equipped - transmogging any of your active weapons into Alara'shinu will trigger the effect.
Returning to the Dream
As some bonus content, you can return to the Emerald Dream and talk to Landeron to tell him of the journey leading to his Warglaives.
<Explain everything that happened, and show Landeron the warglaive.>
What?
I can hardly believe your tale, but here you stand before me. What does this mean? Does Elune condone the use of fel? Was the Dream itself speaking to you through my memories? What force bestowed the warglaive upon you?
So many questions to answer. But I do know that I should continue using what powers I have in the defense of Azeroth, at least for now. You have helped me restore my vision of the future. My past had left me blinded for so long...
Thank you, <player>. May we speak again soon.
