What's the Best Spec for Pallys? Holy, Ret, or Prot?

Prot is the tank tree for PvE (player vs. environment)incase you dont know the abrev.
For Pve it does not really matter what you go just what do you have the most fun doing. Unless your leveling. Most people start out ret then change their spec latter.
For Pvp(player vs. player) I have only seen a prot build for flag carriers in Battlegrounds and thats it. Now before wrath I would tell you to go holy all the way because ret was very poor on the dps scale and were often laughed at by other classes. Now with the patch however they are much better and it comes down to the same thing as would you have more fun healing or more fun doing the damage. Your choice.

I'm sure I offended at least 12 different people by writing this, and I apologize. I'm not saying DPS is an easy job, I just feel it is less demanding than tanking or healing.

lol You are correct. This is why everyone in the game whispers to you asking if you can tank or heal. But I love ret and wont change.

If ur Gonna Play a Paly, it means u basically wanna be the most versatile player in the game :D ( u wanna Heal....U Wanna Dps.... Dam u Feel Like tanking for the dam day)
Yes to LvL as Ret... till u reach LvL 60, by then this is ur 3rd year of WoW University and u need to pick a dam class to actually belong in before ur stuck with wat u picked in the beginning (ret)
As for the BEST.... people r gonna hate me but all i here is Ret this and Ret that for PvP but ive seen a prot paly killl 2 Rets simutaniously, treating them like crazed plate wearing rogues lmao... Prot is the new top dong in the Paly Tree when it comes to PvP
....and ull hate me for this as well.... Why become a Paly for Dps? sry but its way easyer to become Great Dps (geting in the top 3 in raids or number one in a 5 man) as a rogue or mage... i have never been beatin as a rogue by a ret paly as of yet tho i have seen it happen.....disgusting... lol
So in the End i Suggest u go Holy or Prot... Healing is easyer than tanking due to the fact that the tank is the Leader... so u gotta boat sum leadership qualities and knowledge of the bosses u fight.
