Bee Mount Acquisition Breakthrough - Barry the Beekeeper, Tidebreak Hive Faction

The Bee Mount is one of the most awaited mounts of Battle for Azeroth ever since it was showcased on the
BlizzCon 2018: What's Next Panel
. We have
previously speculated on how the Bee mount could be obtained
with hints gathered from datamining, which involved meeting a new bee faction and learning to communicate with them.
This afternoon, the
Secret Finding Discord Community
found what could possibly be confirmation that the Bee Mount is indeed coming in Rise of Azshara!
As we have previously speculated, there are several bee-related quests in Patch 8.2. All these quests require you to summon
Beja
, the bee battle pet Alliance characters help nurture during a hidden questline in Stormsong Valley, perform a specific (and currently unknown) action, and then find a NPC who speaks Bee.

Since our latest speculation, a NPC has been added as an objective for all these quests:

. This NPC is supposedly somewhere in Stormsong Valley. Thanks to

In addition, one of the datamined bee factions,
Colmena mielabdomen
, now has description text:
A species of bee known for their unusual size. While newcomers to Stormsong Valley, they quickly made their presence known to adventurers and insect enthusiasts alike.
With this description, it's fairly obvious that the Tidebreak Hive is located somewhere in Stormsong Valley. Although you would imagine a hive of giant bees wouldn't be too hard to locate, they are currently nowhere to be found on the 8.2 PTR, which matches past secrets where major steps are disabled on the PTR to prevent the community from solving it before the patch goes live.
With the hints we have, the Bee mount being the Alliance equivalent to the Horde's
Arnés de Kua'fon
is more and more likely. This does not mean Horde characters can't use the Bee though, as Kua'fon is usable by Alliance characters once unlocked by a Horde character.
The Bee Mount was first datamined during the Battle for Azeroth alpha:
