I wonder if Sas disabled non-friend messages because he was getting flooded with giveaway PM spam. I'll check in with him later today.
I had that same problem. I realized that being a new member to the Wowhead discord channel I could not send messages for the first ten minutes. Once that timer had finished I was able to send the message.
Are there any plans to expand the wowheadbot to be used on other servers besides just the wowhead one?

Caution, if people start giving you loot rules in discord, then ninja loot and kick you, you can't use Discord chat to report them!
Appreciate the thought, but the giveaway lasts 72 hours and the outage was just a couple of those. It's still open for another ~7 hours on top of that. It doesn't seem necessary to extend the entry period. We'll have another next month if someone misses it this time.
