This Wowhead guide covers Class Builds for Demon Hunter in Diablo Immortal . In this guide, we will list all the current
Blizzard Recommended Builds
for Demon Hunter, as well as any additional
Wowhead Builds
created by Wowhead theorycrafters.
While Blizzard Recommended Builds are posted as sample builds from Blizzard describing possible PvE and PvP builds, these may not actually be the "best" builds for the Demon Hunter. However, the Recommended Builds feature is still useful and interesting to show how a build is put together and what factors play into its crafting. Plus, it rewards for every Legendary Item, Set Item, or Legendary Gem you collect that's part of the recommended build!

Wowhead Demon Hunter Builds in Diablo Immortal
While Blizzard has a Recommended Builds feature and these are covered below. we have created another Demon Hunter build at Wowhead based on extensive playtesting that we believe is an excellent build for PvP. Below, we have a synopsis of each of these builds and a link to a guide that makes recommendations for skills with rotation, Legendary items, Sets, Legendary and Normal gems, with recommendations for upgrading, Reforging, and Awakening gear for the best synergy with the build.
Vengeance Multishot (PvP) Demon Hunter Wowhead Build
Engage enemies from a distance with while using and against groups. enhances damage from all sources.
This is a build that makes some changes to gear, paragon points, and set items of the standard Vengeance PvE build to improve function against players.

Demon Hunter Blizzard Recommended Builds in Diablo Immortal
Recommended Builds in Diablo Immortal are an in-game system that unlocks at level 33. These are built-in builds Blizzard has put together and recommends for endgame play. All classes have three Recommended Builds, two PvE and one PvP, with recommended Skills, Legendary Items, Legendary Gems, and Set Items for each, along with two key magic attributes this set tracks and builds to its advantage.
For more information about Recommended Builds, including the Gold reward system linked to it, please see our guide:
Recommended Builds Overview in Diablo Immortal
Hail of Fire (PvE) Demon Hunter Blizzard Recommended Build
The Hail of Fire Demon Hunter unleashes a flurry of attacks with , , and , frequently triggering bonus damage from set.
This highly offensive Recommended Build is popular for a reason -- it's a ton of fun to play and has few weaknesses, able to take out both groups of enemies and rating high on single-target damage. They are big believers in the old adage "the best defense is a good offense." This build has no real defense built in other than speed, meaning that you need to keep moving to keep enemies away. A slow Hail of Fire Demon Hunter is a dead one.
Hail of Fire (PvE) Demon Hunter Blizzard Recommended Build
Vengeance (PvE/PvP) Demon Hunter Blizzard Recommended Build
Use the power of to destroy enemies, along with the increased mobility of and for additional damage.
This build is promoted by Blizzard as a PvE build, but the Vengeance build closely resembles builds currently used by some of the top players in Battlegrounds. For this reason, we are listing it here as both a PvE and a PvP build. Its fast pace works well with both PvE and PvP content.
Skills don't interlock into hard rotations the way they do with some other classes and builds; without being locked into certain cooldowns and setup orders, you have a lot more flexibility. Adding the skill gives you both a defensive skill (for getting away) and offensive skill (for quick repositioning) -- just what the adaptable Demon Hunter is looking for.
This is the strongest of the three Blizzard Recommended Builds for Demon Hunter.
Vengeance (PvE) Demon Hunter Blizzard Recommended Build
Master Trapper (PvP) Demon Hunter Blizzard Recommended Build
Set up and to ambush unaware enemies, then use to get away when enemies are close.
No one is using this build for high level PvP, and with good reason: it doesn't work as intended.
The major flaw in the theory behind this recommended build -- "ambush unaware enemies" -- just doesn't fit with PvP play in Diablo Immortal. You don't have unaware enemies, because everyone sees where all the red and blue dots are going. It can be tough to predict exactly which way those enemies may go. Stationary traps can be put in the wrong place, taken out by your enemies, or avoided altogether.
This could
possibly
work in some limited circumstances when you are playing defense, but even when you're defending, everyone is moving around a lot and the traps just aren't going to do enough damage to warrant the longer cooldowns.
Nor is it even a good PvE build, because again, you aren't working against unaware enemies. They tend to see you before you see them. True, the traps can have some limited utility in indoor content where mobs tend to be concentrated ( is actually somewhat useful as you're leveling, particularly against stationary bosses), but it's not worth keeping on your bar at all times.
It also works against the single greatest power a Demon Hunter has: speed. Your ability to do damage on the move is unparalleled among the classes, and stationary traps don't mesh well with that.
Because we do not recommend the Master Trapper Demon Hunter build, we have not written a separate guide for it.
For now, if you want to PvP, go with the Vengeance Build detailed above and own your enemies in both PvE and PvP, or go
Vengeance Multishot
for Full PvP focus..

I was expecting a custom made recommendation based on the writer's experience, not a copy-paste of the ingame recommended builds. If i wanted to know what the game recommended, I would have checked it ingame. I hope this expands in the future.
