Sounds amazing. Lots of casters that need insane coordination + AOE stuns to keep under control + mobs that chunk melee with no real counterplay besides popping a big defensive. It's like they design dungeons to be as anti-fun as possible.
Well based on the experiences from the last two seasons, the things pointed out here are the exact kinds of things they'll be working on. Any stop/interrupt causing a recast delay. More visible void hit zones (on Boss 1 too imo!), more manageable and understandable amounts of kicks. Remember how they just removed various spells from underrot trash that were also kickable but were the wrong spell to kick? That kind of era is clearly over.
That gauntlet is going to such for those who have lag/bad ping. But I mean, as long as that isn't your healer, have healer go and start up a mass rez to get past faster yeah?
I wonder if you still can skip 3rd boss in timewalking
The Oracles not getting interrupted by stops is probably something Blizzard will change again, considering most enemies in the current season got changed in the same way as well. And the ink on the last boss very likely will get a makeover as well.
O looks like they are adding crappy trash /mechanics just to have something to fix later...
After testing on the ptr I can say the dungeon is extremely good, probably up there with one of my favourites. However as mentioned the casters and the dogs are really the only problematic things which can be solved with tuning and adjustments. Another thing that isn't mentioned is the ink elementals infinitely spawning small adds leading to infinitely stacking debuffs is kind of a pain but it pales in comparison to the dogs and casters. After some adjustments it will be an S tier dungeon in terms of fun and challenge imo
None of this sounds fun at all. Why change things that aren't broken? Jesus.
My complaint when they announced that they were adding Throne of Tides was that the bosses were all boring, so... I guess they fixed that by reworking all of 'em into different bosses - its a better option but makes one question why Throne of the Tides specifically was added rather than other dungeons where the bosses didn't require complete reworksStill though, looks like its gonna be a decent but fairly boring M+ dungeon
Ugh, still remains the worst dungeon choice Blizzard could have ever made. It's like they don't want people to play their game.
Massively overbloated with pointless overtuned mechanics like predicted. Shame.
so didn't fix anything or made it worse because remembers on top of this is the god awful affixes. rest of df mythic plus is such a skip
