At this point Blizz might as well just add them to the ingame map. People don't want that "sense of discovery" it doesn't work. It's annoying and tedious having to run up and down the map checking the spawn points. Just show us where they are so we can localise ourselves properly.

Let us discover these in-game and when they have been discovered once let us see it the event timer on the map :)
