Nerf in 3...2....1....
bruh dont post what are the best dungeons to farmblizz gonna nerf with a hotfix
This is why there should be spec slots as well. I should be able to save a spec that is "working" but fine tune it in another or try a completey new build and not have to remember the old build i was using... we had that in D3... oh I guess they will "listen" and bring it back in a future season and pretend like they havent just removed QoL features and will trickle feed them back to us each season
Why charge to respect when everyone need to make new toon for seasons anyway
We need that gold for rerolls, let us chop and change builds for free...
Most of the gold was spent on enchant, actually
D4 never lean any experience from other blizzard game, WoW 10.0 copy talent just need a code, why not lean it? look like they never negotiate with other develop team of blizzard.
So for trying a new build it costs 12 million. Let's say u don't enjoy it, thats another 12 million. If u wanna try a new paragon setup, another 8 million. You can't put in the points all the way towards 5/6 boards with rotating stuff, trying to hit some legendary notes along the way, looking what fits ur build or not etc.. There is no official paragon builder where u can also set ur stats, so the only way to know is just spending multiple millions of gold. Yet this post suggest this is a good thing..Would have been better if u called them out, so we can actual try new paragon builds without going broke.
Respecs. Should. Not. Cost. Gold. Period. Not in WoW, and certainly not in Diablo. We don't live in a day and age where the "fantasy" of sticking to one build for RP purposes outweighs the benefit of fun had by trying other types of gameplay, and all respecs do is make players feel like they shouldn't branch out in playstyles and explore, even IF the respecs are relatively "cheap." It's the feeling of, "Well do I want to farm 8 dungeons just to respec?" Just feels bad. I might be in the minority here, I dunno, but it blows my mind that blizz finally made respeccing truly free AND able to be done from almost anywhere in WoW, but have gone BACKWARDS in D4 from D3. It's the old school boomer devs that try to hold onto antiquated ideals that hold their games back, or in some cases, revert progress that has already been made. I just don't get it. And I love RPGs and being immersed in a game. I just also happen to think gameplay should ALWAYS take a front seat to "MUH IMMERSIONS." Look at Tears of the Kingdom. It doesn't make a lick of sense being able to attach half the %^&* you can to use as weapon, and in most cases it looks stupid as hell. But it's FUN and it adds a layer of gameplay customizability that far outweighs the downside of it being a bit silly.
Respec costs should be removed. It just makes game much less fun, because you can't experiment or try out new things when those costs are so absurdly high. Same goes to enchant costs, which should have a price cap after like 5 or so attempts.
They should make respec cost way higher. It's too cheap now, we don't want D3 again.
How are there no loadouts? I'd like to just click a saved Shadow Sever build or a Minions Army build ect. when refunding all.
Respec costs/limitations and the walls they place in the way of experimentation are basically the top reason I could never really get deep into Path of Exile. I don't want to follow someone else's build point for point, I want to try things out and see what works. Having heavy respec costs is directly prohibitive of doing that. I haven't been finding a ton of time to play but I'm already feeling how cost-prohibitive it is to respec a character in the 60s, even just to try a different skill that goes with a new legendary bonus I picked up, or re-path through Paragon boards. It doesn't matter if you could make up this gold in 10-15 dungeon runs, because you may run out of gold in the middle of respeccing and basically be stuck with a bricked character unless you have friends to help you. And that's only if you need to go one way, not even taking into consideration if you need to turn around and respec back to where you were before. That's just blatantly bad design. And the cost of respeccing shouldn't even be coming from the skill points and paragon board anyway. The cost of truly respeccing and trying a new build should come from reworking all of your gear to fit that new build. Finding the right pieces with the right stats, extracting and imprinting the right legendary bonuses, enchanting items to get the best possible stats on them. Enchanting alone is already way more expensive than it really should be, especially when it seems like 9/10 items comes with heavily undervalued resistances instead of stats that are actually useful. One of the most interesting things about this game is easily the Paragon board and the different ways you can build around it. We should be encouraged to constantly be making changes to it and trying new things, not punished for it with unnecessary costs. This is easily near the top of my list of obvious QOL fixes that should come to the game, along with things like :
