These glaives belong to the former demon hunter Vareids Felsoul, who was slain defending the Black Temple many years ago.
The Burning Legion's master, Kil'jaeden the Deceiver, raised Varedis in the Twisting Nether and imbued his glaives with a piece of the demon lord's chaotic power.

Kayn Sunfury reminds you of one of your fallen brothers, Varedis. One a lead trainer but fell at the attacks on the Black Temple. It seems he has returned from the Twisting Nether to work along side those he dedicated his life to fight against. Kayn asks you to question an Eredar that has been locked up in the Violet Hold for more information.
After convincing the guards that you must speak with the Eredar, you and Kayn follow the warden to where he is kept.
Warden Alturas says: Follow me. I shall open the cell for you.
Kayn says: If you would do the honors I will stand guard to ensure no one interferes.
Taldath the Destroyer: You dare stand before me after so many of your disgusting ilk have fallen? Release me now and I may yet spare you.
Warden Alturas says: Meet Taldath - one of the most powerful erefar we've ever encountered. I'm sure you two will be fast friends.
Remember, demon hunter - you were never here.
Taldath the Destroyer yells: FOOL! You dare stand against me alone?!
Varedis will hunter down everyone of your disgusting ilk - pity you won't be around to witness it.
Kayn says: Where is he?! Where is Varedis? Tell us or die.
Taladath says: Vermin! My lord wields power beyond your comprehension - he will be your end!
Your efforts mean NOTHING! Soon all of Suramar will bow to my master's will!
The Twinblades... will be your end...
With the information gained from Taladath, you band together a small force of Illidari and begin your flight to Suramar.
Kayn says: Darksorrow and Ravencrest will have the honor to accompany you into Suramar. A small force will have the best chance of flying undetected into the hold.
Keep you wits about you. Varedis will be a cunning adversary.
As you fly into the fray there are hordes of demons surrounding a barrier. You must find a way to drop the barrier, only then will you be able to face Varedis Felsoul.
After dropping the wards and Varedis' General, you begin your battle with Varedis.
Varedis Felsoul yells: It's been years... You should know better than to stand against me.
My master has granted me many gifts. Behold the power of the Deceiver!
Oh, Lyana... Illysanna... pity the had to die. But don't worry... I'll put their souls to good use!
I was Illidari once... left for dead at the Black Temple. Now you will witness the power of my new master!
Behold the infinite power of the Twinblades!
So, "Illidari", you seek my head, that you might take the Twinblades as your own? Allow me to introduce you to their power... personally.
Join me! Unleash your true power. Don not let the weak hold you back!
Behold the power of the Deceiver. Behold the full power of the demon within!
I am a GOD! KNEEL BEFORE ME!
I am through with this charade! Your soul will feed the Twinblades!
Ziluun says: It is not yet your time, Varedis.
Xirus says: Unleash the Twinblades and destroy the interloper!
Varedis yells: This is...not...over....
Varedis falls to your feet and from his corpse you pick up the Twinblades of the Deceiver and claim them as your own.
