Effects of Patch 1.4.3 for Pulverize Druid
Bears rejoice! We've received some lovely buffs! Overall Druid has received a multitude of increases although Pulverize in particular is getting some rather hefty boosts. This should help quite a bit with our damage and clear speed and make us a bit more competitive with other high-performing builds.
Strengths and Weaknesses for Pulverize Werebear Druid
Pulverize Werebear is a relatively easy playstyle with a very satisfying flow and effects that feels very powerful. It's also quite relaxing to play. However, it carries the tools to decimate every sort of content you may wish to accomplish. From the very start of the game, you can begin with Pulverize and never really redo everything. It's incredibly flexible, able to accommodate various gearing and Uniques. Once reaching endgame and the pinnacle content, Pulverize rewards those who are able to slightly adjust their playstyle, making this build's gameplay ever-changing and never stale.

Pulverize Werebear Druid Skills in Diablo 4 Season 4
The Pulverize Werebear Druid thrives during AoE encounters, transforming the largest groups of enemies — which may appear intimidating for some — into an exhilarating sight, due to the unbelievably satisfying way this build functions. Their power is readily apparent the larger the pack, yet they're no slouch when it comes to single-target encounters and even Bosses. With very few buttons, massive health bars are quickly cut in half, if not being deleted in an instant. One may consider the Werebear to be a magician when it comes to dealing with enemies — now you see them, now you don't.

The Standard Endgame Build for Pulverize Werebear Druid is the build you'll be using most of the time for a wide variety of content -- Tree of Whispers, Helltides, dungeons, and most other normal activities.
Pulverize Werebear Druid Rotation
Below is our general rotation which one will encounter more often than not. Although most skills have more situational uses than what is described, please see our "Active Skills" section for a more detailed use of each skill.
- Use when needed to generate Spirit, gain Damage Reduction, apply vulnerable, or to increase damage through .
- Next comes our main source of damage: line Pulverize up so it'll hit the max amount of enemies possible.
- Use before bursting for increased Critical Strike Chance.
- Save Petrify for tough groups of Elites or Bosses.
- We use this to apply poison typically on cooldown, so as often as possible.
- Boosts and gives us fluffy friends for moral support.
Pulverize Werebear Druid Active Skills
This section describes the Active skills you'll be taking for this build, along with any modifiers.
Stormstrike
(1/5)
Basic
Modifiers:
Storm Strike is often rarely used outside of single-target encounters, but it is worthwhile for Spirit generation or as a damage increase, due to . When using it to increase damage, make sure to use Storm Strike before . It can also be used to provide Damage Reduction, generally though we're clearing quickly and safely enough to not need it. Finally, allows us to Immobilize enemies, and this CC effect synergizes with a few different skills while also giving us a way to consistently apply vulnerable.
Pulverize
(5/5)
Core
Modifiers:
Pulverize is our primary source of damage and is quite straightforward. Once we have all of our chosen Aspects, Pulverize becomes a ranged skill, but there are nuances with using this skill.
When cast, Pulverize lands in an AoE circle around the area it hits. This is more easily noticeable with as it highlights the circle during the Spikes. causes Pulverize to become a ranged skill, but it also makes it hit slightly differently. Shockwave damage will miss the enemy if you’re too close to the target, so you want to be sure there's a minor gap between you and your intended target so that both the main Pulverize damage and the damage from will land.
Also, it's important to note that you'll want to make certain you're nearly always Healthy when using this skill in order to enable building towards an additional Overpower effect.
Ravens
(1/5)
Companion
Modifiers:
Ravens gives a boost to our Critical Strike Chance when used, however the main use is in order to power .
Petrify
(1/1)
Ultimate
Modifiers:
Petrify serves as a massive source of damage when it is active, and we're easily able to take advantage of this damage boost with our high Critical Strike Chance. The Stun attached to this can be helpful in a pinch too, trully pausing the game as soon as its used, since everything hit will be Stunned for a decent duration. S4 has changed the Ultimate skill to be particularly effective against Bosses due to the cooldown reduction we receive when the skill is used on Bosses.
Poison Creeper
(1/5)
Companion
Modifiers:
Here we have an ability specifically used to apply poison in order to benefit , with the added bonus of gaining increased Critical Strike Chance.
Wolves
(1/5)
Companion
Modifiers:
Once more, we have Wolves in order to boost . Rather than that, they can provide a distraction to enemies.
Pulverize Werebear Druid Passive Skills
Passive skills are important for tying a build together, as well as building on the synergies for the Pulverize Werebear Druid build.
Heart of the Wild
(1/3)
Core
A flat Spirit increase is nice, but we only take a single point here as our primary goal is to reach the next, more important Passive.
Wild Impulses
(3/3)
Core
This comes with a nasty Spirit cost increase; however, the Damage boost it provides completely erases the negative, and we have plenty of ways to generate Spirit in this build.
Predatory Instinct
(1/3)
Core
We're generally close to enemies when dealing damage, so it makes sense to take this Passive. It's an easy way to gain some extra Critical Strike Chance.
Iron Fur
(3/3)
Core
This is an easily accessible source of Damage Reduction which benefits us in and out of Werebear form. Please don't overlook this Passive.
Mending
(3/3)
Wrath
With a huge boost to our Max Life and Healing, this passive is quite strong.
Provocation
(3/3)
Wrath
This Passive is
the
reason why you want to cast your rotation quickly, as it maximizes uptime on Werebear form. Luckily, this is easily executed with some practice.
Crushing Earth
(3/3)
Wrath
This synergizes with a few other powers, allowing us to gain full benefit from this Passive.
Stone Guard
(3/3)
Wrath
We're able to Fortify rather easily with this build, giving us a sizeable damage increase from this Passive.
Safeguard
(1/3)
Wrath
This build carries a very high Critical Strike Chance, activating this Passive relatively often.
Neurotoxin
(1/3)
Wrath
Just one point here to reach the next more important node.
Envenom
(3/3)
Wrath
This is a truly massive damage increase once everything has been acquired.
Defiance
(3/3)
Ultimate
counts as a Nature Magic skill with certain Aspects that are detailed in this build, making it grant an additional damage increase.
Circle of Life
(1/3)
Ultimate
This build lacks self-healing, and this Passive helps to address this shortcoming.
Resonance
(3/3)
Ultimate
Resonance provides a decent damage increase that is further increased if using a Storm Skill such as .
Natural Disaster
(3/3)
Ultimate
Another damage increase when doing our normal rotation.
Quickshift
(3/3)
Ultimate
Pulverize counts as a Shapeshifting ability, giving us yet another massive damage boost.
Heightened Senses
(1/3)
Ultimate
A flexible passive in terms of placing points, this gives us a bit more utility.
Ursine Strength
(1/1)
Key Passives
This key passive provides both a defensive and offensive increase through Maximum Life alone. It also gives us two additional damage increases in the form of your character being Healthy,, and more simply a boost to Overpower damage. This Key Passive is loaded for our purposes with consistent, massive bonuses.
Pulverize Werebear Druid High-Tier Content
This build functions perfectly well within high-tier Nightmare Dungeons, although it becomes significantly more reactive. Below we have listed some tips and advice to farm this difficult content comfortably.
Pulverize Werebear High-Tier Content Tips
Here you'll find advice on how to survive some of the most dangerous content in the game.
Don't hesitate to cast from range. It's a damage loss but it hits hard enough on its own to deal with nasty enemies typically outside of the strongest of them.
Save for groups of Elites to delete them quickly.

Man, I want to like any of these druid builds, but using a ranged builder and a melee spender feels so clunky.
