I'll go play Eastern fantasy games if Blizzard decides all of their products will have masculine, fully covered women. All while still donning offensively unrealistic male figures, strapped with chiseled muscles, shirtless and otherwise, even the old men. What a double standard. It's pathetic and emasculating.
"Thinks Players Should Do What They Feel Is Right"They gutted the systems, no offline and no tcp/ip support or mods, so I am not buying it, waste of money imo.
Just read a few comments here to understand why the changes Blizzard is making to the game to try to minimize the unnecessary sexualization of female characters is so important: it hits the fragile masculinity of so many players to the point of some saying they won't play the game because the muscular, shirtless male figure is yet to be sexualized.Buddy, if you're a muscular bombshell you can walk around without a shirt showing off without fear of being harassed while a woman, even covered from head to toe, is afraid of any dark alley after six in the afternoon. So give it a break, stop looking only at your own ego for a change and when you want to see content suitable for adults, the internet is full of it, you don't need an online game to satisfy yourself, okay?
With what is happening at Blizzard I understand why Rob Gallerani said what he did. However the game is rated M for mature, not T for teen like world of warcraft. If there isn't any real mature themes in the art, I would be very disappointed. It is like having something like classic Tetris labeled as R for restricted, having nothing warranting such a rating. Making amazon class look more like warriors is a great change, you are battling demons as the core gameplay not playing dress up.
Blizzard needs to stop bowing down to these #$%^&s and keep the games they way they want them to be.I am sorry that some female Blizzard Employees got harassed but there is no need to strip the games of this stuff.Blizzard will just continue to make mistake after mistake until the company is fully run into the ground.
Glad they didn't go too far with the changes, and kept it faithful to the original. All those little details help make it the awesome game it's always been.
There is no offline mode, You still need to log in to server to play "offline" because blizzard want to check if you use legal copy of game. Also tpc/ip give you ability to play offline with friends.
The changes we are now seeing in Blizzard and their games is mostly motivated by falling stock prices and lost revenue, shareholders are only outraged because they are loosing money.Nudity and portrayal of sexuality in entertainment and games are not the cause of the problems we have in society today, solving those issues will require a very different approach. It's always easier to blame someone else for our faults, they tried the same with violent content in the past, this is just history repeating itself.
I have my refund and I’m happy, that’s all I needed
I can't wait for the day ancient greek statues are destroyed because they over-sexualize the female body.
If the pixelated T&A were what made the game for you, maybe you should just go watch low grade porn? D2 is a great game because it's a great game.
IP removed, however, offline option is still there, fine and the experience was there.Yes, there where eviserated, naked women in different parts of the game, maybe they tried to avoid having too many female mangled corpses in a single place for polemic reason?I am just a Randy writing this on Wowhead, but damn, this game was really smooth.I am not a hardcore player, so I don't know if this game delivers for ladder players, but my pre-order was well worth it, and I thank Rob for not pushing anyone to pick a side, and just giving us the freedom to choose..And they said this was going to be another Refunded, roflmfao.

It's so weird. Not long ago, so many people were getting together against the mans who laughed at a woman at BlizzCon because she suggested female characters maybe could use something that was not from a victoria's secret lingerie line. Now they get mad that Blizzard is actually covering up those badass battle ladies in armor and making them look less like models and more like warriors. I just don't get it. It's ok if you don't like the game, but pick a side: do you want naked women or not? do you want them to fight demon with their butt cheeks out or not? do you want half their breasts out their clothes or not? I'm puzzled.
