Alunira
is a special Rare that spawns at the peak of the Dhar Oztan mountain in Isle of Dorn. She's up pretty much all the time but is immune to all attacks, hidden behind her

To dispel her shield, you must take on the hard task of collecting 10

. These items aren't epic just to be cute: These are very rare drops from
ANY
mob in the Isle of Dorn. You can earn these from rares, from normal mobs, even from mobs while you're leveling. Thankfully, Crackling Shards are Warband-bound, so you can level alts in the Isle of Dorn and send them to your main if you happen to loot one on them.
Once you have 10 Cracking Shards, merge them to form a
Sturmgefäß
, which is used on Alunira to make her attackable! Much like Hirukon in Shadowlands,
only the person who breaks Alunira's shield will have a guaranteed mount
. It is currently unknown if players attacking her also have a chance at a mount.
