Just heads up, I took a mythic piece out of my mythic vault that was on the loot table for Seat of Triumvirate, ran seat on a 10+, same boots still showed on the loot table -.-

Are you wondering how to unlock the Bonus rolls? You've come to the right place! This is available in Retail as of April 22nd 2026 with the 12.0.5 content update.

You need to start by completing a series of quests for Decimus in Voidstorm. (/way 51.20, 68.45 )
Quest is called An Elementary Voidcore - where you have to kill (3) Raid bosses, M+ bosses or Bountiful Delves.
This quest needs to be completed 6 times (if you've been keeping up every week, you are there- if not you have some catch up, you should be able to chain the quests- so be sure to turn in/get it again once complete).
Once the voidforge is complete, you will be given 2 additional quests:
"New Tools, New Heights" (must kill 3 more bosses, grants 1 charge for weapon/trinket upgrades- this will take 4 weeks total to unlock)
"A Nebulous Endeavour" (asks you to spend a bonus Roll)
Once you pick up these 2 quests, Decimus will offer quests to grant your weekly bonus rolls, You can only complete 1: 5000 Gold, 2000 Voidlight Marl, 80 Veteran DawnCrests.
You can also get 1 bonus from the Vault exchange (if you get nothing good from vault) "Nebulous Voidcore" ***only shows as an option if you've picked up the quests from Decimus. This comes from Vaultkeeper Elysa (Silvermoon City /way 50.39, 65.07) and costs 6x Thalassian Tokens of Merit.

How Bonus rolls work: Once you kill a boss or complete a Delve/M+, you will have an extra Roll option - Hover over the roll option and it will tell you all the possible pieces you can get.
If you are running a Normal Raid, it would be a Normal Piece.
For M+ the quality matches what you would get in the vault (Example: 10 or higher M+ key = Mythic quality piece.)

There we have it, complete the weekly 4 weeks in a row to unlock the weapon upgrades (Starting April 22nd) and unlock your 2-3 bonus rolls each week! Another bad vault protection!

let's say i did hc dreamrift then i did the quest for the coins can i re do the raid and still bonus roll ?

This is a very important point. You get few of these tokens as is.
I'd be careful on where you spend them until we see confirmation that the tooltip is fixed or the bug is addressed.

My suspicion is that 'where you have looted an Item from the weekly Vault this information is (currently) not passed to whatever tracks the loot drops you get inside 'Dungeon X'. That process is 'unaware' of the Vault and so doenst remove potential duplicate items form the dungeon loot table.

Oh noes!
Rookie coding error if you consider that this whole new mechanic is tied too and supposed to suppliment the Vault!

Keep in mind that in a raid you spend TWO Nebulous Voidcore on one bonus roll.

Today Blizzard refunded up to 2 voidcores to people that already spent them while they were bugged (could drop duplicates despite that this shouldn't happen). Meaning people like me that already spent both cores, could spend two again.

Note that armor tokens on raid bosses are on the loot table. Say for instance if you have the armor token, boots, and coveted trinket drop from Dreamrift as Protection/Holy Paladin, you have a 33% chance of getting the trinket. Not 50%. Unfortunately I got the armor token while aiming for the trinket ;) (and yes, I had Myth set, it will still drop the Heroic chest token if you have the set chest already).
