Atm, this is just Hillsbrad Foothills and nothing more. No Troll things at all. It seems more like Old Hillsbrad but with a destroyed Durnholde. To the west the zone ends a little after Arathi starts, to the south it ends a little bit of the coast, to the east the zone ends after a wall between Silverpine and Hillsbrad and to the north it ends right after Dalaran. So i pretty much have no idea what this is or why its called "Troll Raid 2".

Review of the 40v40 10th anniversary battleground: This battleground is filled with bots, and if there is 10 bots on the other team and none on yours then you lost, the bots are too organized, hitting the same target, interupting healers instantly.. Its not even fun unless you go in a premade.

Is this title account wide? and if i get it on horde, will i also get the alliance version unlocked to my account?

*Edit 1: Just checked here, the title is account wide, but only for chars 90+ (only tested on lvl 90+ and a lvl 70). I dont have any alliance character to test if i would get both titles.

On a side note, if you are having trouble to get the title, try doing this BG with a non 100 character. I tried 2 times with my 100 (horde US) and failed pretty hard, got on my first try as a 91 (RNG is RNG, but it could help).

Ok someone please explain to me WTF is going on with the flight masters.

I played 2 games, we won both by killing the enemy flight master (I play Horde).

The first game we got 200 points from the FM kills each time he spawned.

Now the second game was weird. We killed him in the first few minutes with a large group and no points. After a few minutes I went in and solo'd him, BAM, 200 points.

Near the end of the game, killed him again with a couple other players, giving us a quick 200 points to win with seconds left on the clock...

Could it be the FM only gives points when she's killed by a smaller grp? That seems to be the only difference between the 1st and then the 2nd/3rd kills that actually gave points. Or there something else I don't know about?

What I noticed that it did actually lead to a victory wasn't the zerg on their graveyard but to actually have shorter way to the battlefield after you'd fallen as victim in the battle and be there in no time so by making everyone regroup after each zerg vs zerg at the tower (between tower and your base) the chance was actually higher to become victorious as your rank do rise from the old ranks from vanilla by killing without to die on your way to rank 14.

If you'd die on for an example rank 4 you'd simply just lose your progress and fall back to not having a rank at all.

In order to get first rank you need 10 kills and from warlord to High warlord seems to be just a few kills so if you're familar with League of legends I'd say do not feed the pvp legends out there because then you pretty much screwed if you're against 1vs1.

Rank: 侦察兵 grants you for an example 1% higher in damage and healing afaik. Please correct me if I missed something.

So rank 高阶督军 grants you 14% more in both damage and healing.

Blizzard did even do following that in order to have the chance to catch up when the other side is this fed and high in rank, you're also worth more in points when you fall in battle. So with rank 11 for an example, you're worth 11 points meanwhile you maybe are just worth just a single point. 5 versus 1 sounds more tempting on those targets if you ask me!

Edit: As some people have already asked in this thread regarding on account wide title I can say that this sure is! Even on both factions if you gained this achievement on horde side and you log in on an alliance toon!

is the point progression bugged or something?
the cap is 10k but the furthest i've seen going is 1k. if that's going as intended, why such a huge cap?

I'm not entirely sure when this change occurred, mostly likely a quick hotfix at some point, but the cap on points is now 300 instead of 10k and the time has been reduced down from an hour to 30 minuets. This means that the battles will be significantly shorter now with the added benefit of gaining 200 "free" points by killing the opposing factions' flight master. Zarise is the Horde one and Darla Harris is the Alliance one. So the general strategy is; kill enemy flight master, defend yours and accumulate 100 more points through player kills. Note that the flight masters are level 100 elites and although you're in a 40 man group, there is also level 100 guards around that hit quite hard!

Just to clarify some other things that have been said below in other comments;

- The title obtained from the achievement/feat of strength (either "<Name>, Southshore Slayer" for Horde or "<Name>, Tarren Mill Terror" for Alliance) IS account wide AND cross-faction, so you only need to get the win on one character, Alliance or Horde!

- There is indeed a ranking system within the battleground, the higher rank you are, the more damage and healing you'll do, BUT, you're worth more points to the enemy team if they kill you. There are 15 ranks altogether, making a maximum +15% damage and healing AND +15 points to the enemy team upon your death.

- The event runs from the 21st of November 2014 to the 5th of January 2015, so you have plenty of time from now until then to get this as well as do the upgraded Molten Core. And according to some people from the Blizzard community, if the battleground goes well and feedback from the player base is positive, it may return for future anniversaries! (which implies that it will NOT be around all the time!)

- The lowest level you can queue for the battleground is 90, there are 2 level brackets in total, 90-99 and 100, which also means that the titles you get can be used on any character 90+ once obtained.

Its Jan 7th, and we can still get into this BG, which was supposed to go away on the 5th-6th. Wonder if they made this a permanent BG, they must have it seems.

The map id of Tarren Mill vs Southshore is 1010. This is used with the SetMapByID and GetMapNameByID WoW API functions.

It's worth noting that this is an excellent brawl to get the hidden artifact PVP tint that requires 1000 kills.
