For some odd reason, there's a glitch where if you learn one Way, and then learn the others, they don't show up in your cooking profession. Or perhaps it's just a glitch if you learn the Way of the Pot first. Either way, something seems to be wrong.

FYI, to get from 576 (which you should be at if you level cooking the intended way) to 600 in all the ways.
This method uses the Great Banquets since it uses the least amount of 100 year soy sauce.

You will need the following grocery list:

100 year soy sauce x 18

Green Cabbage x 300
Witchberries x 300

Redbelly Mandarin x 60
Raw Crab Meat x 60
White Turnip x 300

Krasarang Paddlefish x 60

Iv'e done all 6 cooking skills and got them to 600, but it's still not letting me hand the quest in. What am i doing wrong because iv'e spent 10k on cooking food and all iv'e had is the achievement.

For those seeking this title, it helps if you have 3 or 4 lvl 90s all with 16 plot farms, this way you can grow the vegetable components to your banquets and not have to buy them, also even after exhaulted do the single cooking daily for 百年陈酱, you can also plant 欢歌铃种子 for even more Ironpaw tokens.

This will NOT benefit from the pandaren cooking bonus as you will have to get 615 skill in each way, not 600, to get credit for their respective achievements.

The most annoying part of this is definitely the 575-600 grind which requires you to craft banquets. Since most MoP fish and meat can't be found on the AH nowadays the fastest way to get the required materials is to buy them with Ironpaw Tokens which in turn can be bought with Spirits of Harmony.

If you buy all materials for 575-600 via tokens you need exactly 200 Ironpaw Tokens = 200 Spirits of Harmony. These tend to cost somewhere between 20-100g each, meaning a total cost of about 4-20k gold. In reality you'll need a lot less since you probably already have a bunch of materials and some can be found on the AH.

If you decide to go the Spirits of Harmony -> Ironpaw Token route, keybind this macro:

/click StaticPopup1Button1

It clicks the "Yes" button on the popup for you so you don't have to manually click it 400 times.

Would be interesting to know how this works in BfA, when all professions have their own leveling from 1 to 150. Does it affect Pandaren Cooking too or is it still it's own thing?

Edit August 17th: Fixed a bug that prevented Pandaria Banquets from granting the intended skill levels to Pandaria Cooking and Way of the Grill. Following the original guide should work now. :)

~~8.0 has completely ruined this. You're going to need way more mats to complete since there is no longer +2 and +5 skill-ups per craft.~~

Edit: Starting to work on this now and have stopped them all at 50/75 to stop and add materials up. I had all materials prior to 8.0 following elgustav's(highest rating comment) guide. Starting at 10/75 I need to do 15 crafts to unlock the next recipe, then 25 for the third then another 25 crafts to finish it off (25 crafts of each recipe if it starts at 0/75).

If you want to complete this after 8.0 without spending a small fortune on materials, you should better begin to progress with 阡陌客 quest line on multiple characters and take advantage of the daily quests that reward 铁掌徽记 which can be redeemed at 纳姆·铁掌.

Apart from that, I suggest you progress through the Sunsong Ranch quest line. In that way you will be able to harvest 16 soils of the food you prefer per day.
If you do that with multiple characters every day, which actually takes about 5 minutes, you will be able to gather the materials you need.

If for some god awful reason you're trying to complete this quest line in 2020 or after, the achievement now says “Obtain 75 Skill points in Way of the X”. They Lie.
It’s actually more like 85-90 skill points depending on which Way it is.

As a 120, I just completed this in just a little under 24 hours, and only spending a few thousand gold (and I made a bad decision that led to even that much spent). The MoP cooking materials are pretty expensive on the AH but all are obtainable. I recommend farming the birds, fish, and predators that drop the materials and cash them in for Ironpaw tokens. Put your tokens toward the most expensive AH items and buy the rest if you need to.

The most troublesome ingredients for me were mogu pumpkins and redbelly mandarins.
