This is currently very expensive. It requires 3x Maelstrom Crystals (Cataclysm's Abyss Crystals). Expect this enchant to cost an insane amount (more than 1,000g) for the first few weeks of release. There doesn't seem to be an interim enchant between Powerful Stats and this one, but hopefully a +16 stats enchant will be available from the start of Cataclysm.

With Spirit now being a secondary stat, does this enchant still grant 20 spirit? Or would it only grant healers 20 intellect (ignoring stamina/agility/strength as it does nothing for my heals)?

On the armory mastery is listed among the other stats (str, sta, int ...). Does this enchant give 20 mastery as well?

Stats: Stamina, Intellect, Agility, Strength, Spirt. The 5 basic stats are increased by 20, that is all that is increased by this.

I always wondered if these enchants increased AP/SP/Crit etc too. Thanks for clearing that up.

They increase agi/int/ etc, those stats affect ap/sp/crit etc

I don't get why there is such a steep increase in materials for about +5 st and +5<insert dominant stat> as compared to the super stats enchant. The change is negligible.

Also, we're wasting numerous increases on useless stats. What were the designers thinking?

I'm convinced that the materials difference between the "affordable" and "best" stats-to-chest enchants has become part of either an elaborate prank or a sociological experiment on Blizzard's part to see just what lengths players will go to for acquiring a tiny stat boost. It was bad enough during Wrath, but now, the raw materials for the +15 chest enchant go for about 30g, whereas materials for the +20 enchant can easily run 7000g or more. 7000g+ for 5 points to 5 stats, 2 or more of which are likely useless for your spec -- yeesh!

And yet, Blizzard will continue to be able to snicker at us from behind the curtain, as they watch all of us (myself included) pay thousands of gold representing hours of gameplay for the benefit of 10 attack power, or 70 health, or whatever other minor benefit will make us feel good about having the most advanced stats possible.

This is an extremely disappointing enchant for a PVE hunter, as the only stats of the five that we get ANY benefit from are agi and stamina, and the latter is debatable. If you consider that most other slots give at least 40 of a stat, it's almost sad.

Unless you're swimming in gold, Mighty Stats is a much better value for your money. For something like a Mage, you're paying an additional 1000G+ for extra 5 intellect.
Not really worth it if you ask me.

the thing with this enchant is that it makes you look good, i have pvp shoulders that have better general stats and the t11 only give more crit (lowest priority for preists) and people say that i should use blue 346 gear....people are so stupid,,,,

If you're twinking at low level - you may be mislead-ed. It appears to say it will give you 20 stats, but will only give you 3 stats. The best chest enchant is powerful - stats that gives you 4 stats on chest.

Absolute best chest enchant +20 stats at the end for new heirloom characters. If you want to max or even for twinking. Cost is relative cheap, you can get the enchant for almost nothing at dreanei of warlords city.

The materials atm go for about 30g a piece, that's a minor 180g total. U could farm the materials yourself if you want for absolute free but 180g is pretty much nothing in legion so yea.
