It is a hidden spell, in this case, as it is only applied during the quest. Much like the proccable non-listed spells for other weapons, (the Unyielding Blade from Hellfire Peninsula that summoned Unyielding Spirits only for Grillok "Darkeye" comes to mind) This will only be an active spell during the quest http://ptr.wowhead.com/?quest=24547 and that should be it.

Also, will someone please update this PTR page? Broken link is broken. Nobody can see the #item.

Correct, after gathering all the materials for http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=24545, you get yourself a 2h weapon. Its only 575 badges worth of saronite.

After handing in The Sacred and the Corrupt you get the following speech from Mograine as he forges the axe:

Iam only doing this chain quest because of the GOLD it gives

there are 9 quests each gives 31g
so 9 x 31 = 279g!
and if i vendor that sh*it weapon i get 50g
so...
279g + 50g = 329g! F*CK YEAH!

For anyone trying to do this quest now, yes, it will bug if you kill minions too fast. On my Paladin I used consecration (which took two hits to kill them), although you could use low level heirlooms or take off gear.

I was having issues in retail WoW tagging mobs due to being maxed level, doing this during Dragonflight. Found that if I gather them around (not hitting them) and use Divine Toll spell on them, spec'd as retribution, they all count for the quest. My character was naked to avoid any other issues. I hope this helps anyone doing this quest. I farmed the mobs right at the entrance to ICC.

I would like to add a comment for DK specific class, you can go in taunt mobs with no equipment on then round them up and use Death and Decay on all the mobs..

Just make sure you have shadow's edge equipped
