Anyone know where to get that Ith'rix's Hardened carapace?

From talking to a few people, this item drops from a mob that the Warsong Captain kills every so often outside of Warsong Hold. I have found the Warsong Captain at 43.16, 56.51. I don't know how often this event happens but the captain is supposed to announce it when it does.

The event started at 11:50pm server time for me so not sure if that means every 50 mins or so it starts

I waited for just under 45 minutes for the event to start, so the above comments RE:30 min spawn time is incorrect.

It all happens outside the front door of Warsong Hold just as the path goes down into the pit.

Once the event starts, there is waves of Nerub'ar Sky Darkener's that keep coming for exactly 10 minutes then Ith'rix the Harvester will appear.

The guards will take it all down without any issues and anyone can loot th'rix the Harvester's corpse.

You don't have to kill anything to get Ith'rix's hardened carapace, just wait for it all to finish

You do not need to participate in the battle to loot the object, additionally there is no level requirement either.

I just waited for this event for the better part of 30 minutes, and Ith'rix never spawned despite his yell. As such, there was no quest item to loot. Talk about disappointment.

Just took place at the event, but the Marksmen were wiped by the Nerub'ar Sky Darkeners. After that, the Warsong Captain yelled "The Nerub'ar have been punished for their transgression! Let the forces of the Lich King gaze upon the carcass of this wretch and know that the Horde will not relent!", after which he said "Gather, soldiers! Gather and take your trophies from the carapace of the enemy!".

Ith'rix the Harvester didn't spawn at all and of course there was no carapace.

The same thing happened to me right now. All the marksmen that were there were killed (which was like 4) and the champion as well and then Ith'rix came and despawned.

EDIT: Did the same thing this morning looking to see if it was still "bugged". This time, ALL of the marksmen came, not just 4 of them and then Ith'rix were killed and could be looted.

Just did the event today. At 1:50 a Warsong Scout appeared and started the dialogue with the Warsong Captain. Marksmen appeared and began killing the approaching Nerub'ar Sky Darkeners. After 9 minutes of waves Ith'rix appeared and was quickly killed, ending the event right at 2:00.

Event began at exactly 1:00 PM

• Warsong Scout says: Captain... Nerub'ar flyers! Hundreds of 'em! Coming... Coming from the south! Over our defenses!
• Warsong Scout says: There! There!
• Warsong Captain says: Settle down, soldier!
• Warsong Captain says: We'll be ready for 'em... You did a good job in warning us.
• Warsong Captain yells: Marksmen! Front and center! Scourge attack incoming!
• Warsong Captain yells: Marksmen, lock and load!
• Warsong Captain says: Defend the inner sactum at all costs!
• Then, waves and waves of Nerub'ar Sky Defenders swoop in. Marksmen go into frenzies, some die.
• At 1:09 PM, Ith'rix the Harvester yells: I will take great pleasure in tearing the forces of the Horde apart... limb from limb, piece by piece...
• Ith'rix the Harvester is killed. Loot Ith'rix to receive a quest. Turn quest in to Highlord Saurfang inside Warsong Hold.
• Warsong Captain yells: The Nerub'ar have been punished for their transgression!
• Warsong Captain yells: Let the forces of the Lich King gaze upont he carcass of this wretch and know that the horde will not relent!
• Warsong Captain says: Gather, soldiers! Gather and take your trophies from the carapace of the enemy.
