Is she a timed mob or part of a quest, we don't see her standing there.

I'm looking into now whether she spawns during Assualt On Magnarok. Pretty sure that's the answer, but that she's still on a slow spawn timer due to being a daily mission rare. Which is a pain, because this appears to be the best way to get an entry-level tanking neck.

Mother of Goren appears to be very bugged. Tried killing her tonight (30Nov2014) and could not get past her Lava Whirl, which she continually bugged out and would evade reset. We eventually gave up trying to kill her -- about 5 attempts later. Will update if we're able to kill her.

Killed her today. What I did was pull her to the isle in the middle of the lava and kick eggs constantly. This apparently kept her from resetting.

Not sure if that was the isle, the eggs or both.

She bugged on me twice as well. What I noticed was that the bigger add directly behind us would run up on me and that's when she reset. I'm going to try to kill him first this time and see if that works.

We defeated her today. Her health kept going back to full, and we decided to run away and read up on her. She didn't leash but the other little mobs did. We started attacking her again and she died pretty quickly with no health resets.

tldr: Try dragging her away from her spawn point before killing her.

Can be killed several times a day for reputation.

She is still bugged like crazy as of 6/14/2015. I tried the different methods mentioned in other comments to keep her from resetting and the only one that worked was to pull her away from her spawn point, I moved her up near where the rolling Goren was and she didn't reset once while fighting her (didn't aggro the rolling Goren or use him to fight her just in case)

I had to kite her about 60 yards away from her spawn point to prevent her from resetting.
