I got the alert for this NPC while questing in Gorgrond at the Stonemaul Arena. I couldn't find a way over the mountains separating the zones without flying at 93. There are plenty of Bonus Objectives in the area to get you xp and goodies. Time might be better spent on those than trying for her while you're in Gorgrond.

Shes in Frostfire ridge at 87,57. If you look at the zone map on the far west side. it's between the 2 western, bottom most buildings. _NPCSCAN and similar addons will pick her up in Grogrond, but she is actually in Frostfire. Hope this helps!

For squishy players, Ak'ox the Slaughterer cannot be kited inside the room she is in because of her AoE fire move.

Kiting strategy that worked for me:
Kill the one guard to the left of the door to her building. Wait for the patrol of 3 mobs that will come from the North and let them turn around and start heading back. Once they are out of the way, you can pull Ak'ox outside the building and kite her around the tree on the north side of the building.

Camped her for about 60 minutes (+/-2 mins) before she spawned. I arrived when all the trashmobs were dead so someone probably killed her right before i arrived. Will try again tomorrow as the belt still didn't drop (3rd kill so far).

Spawns in a hut at /way 88.6, 57.2, and she's not interested in visitors.
