These mobs have three abilities:

- Winterfall firewater: increases their attack power and size. Can be purged, dispelled or stolen with the mage's spell-steal spell, giving you the attack power bonus and an increase in size(please confirm the last two). It's a magic ability that all Winterfall furbolgs have;

- Earthbind totem: decreases the player's movement speed. You may attack it or walk away a little to get out of its range as it's a little one;

- Moonflare totem: Inflicts around 300 arcane damage around 4 seconds after it has been casted. You can either attack it or move away a few steps from it in order to avoid the damage, since the totem has a small range.

From what I've seen, these seem to share a spawn with the other Winterfall in the area. So if you're having trouble finding them, then it may be worth your time to kill off the others even after you've gotten the number you need for your quest.

From what I can gather, this mob and Winterfall Den Watcher share the same spawn points. The Winterfall Pathfinder seem to have their own dedicated spawns. So if you are farming Winterfall Totemic also kill any Den Watchers you see to have a chance of Totemic spawning.
