I spent about fifteen minutes waiting for the Zandalari Battlebeast to spawn. When I applied Beast Lore to the mob, it signified that it was NOT tameable. It did however state that it had a diet of fruit and fungus. Maybe hope for the future?

Can be tamed as of 8.3

(1) If you don't already have the 远古驯龙秘典 go and grab that from the Dinomancers on The Isle of Giants
(2) Head to The Isle of Thunder, outside of Bleak Hollow mobs constantly spawn, every so often the battlebeast will spawn and can be tamed.

Tamable with 远古驯龙秘典, access the 雷神岛 via portal at Shado-Pan Garrison, can take up to 15-20 minutes to spawn.

If you tame it, be aware that it keeps the heavy stomping sounds when it walks.

Ok here's all you need to know to tame this guy:

- First and foremost, you need to make sure you can tame Direhorns. Run this script (as a bonus it will tell you if you can tame Feathermanes and Mechanicals too):

You don't want to sit there and wait 30 minutes for this guy to spawn only to find out you can't even tame him.

- There are three possible spawns that will attack Bleak Hallow and they spawn 5 to 7 minutes apart. It's completely random which one will show up:
-- Spirit-Bound Sentry
-- Bloodrender Devilsaur / Zandalari Beastlord
-- Zandalari Battlebeast

- You don't want to stand at Bleak Hallow. There are stealthed NPCs and guards that might grab aggro from you. It's best to stand here. All three spawns run down the steps. There are two pats that stroll through this area (devilsaur and pack of trolls) but they won't bother you unless you're close to their level.
