Fran & Riddoh
3rd Fight of Brawlers Club Rank 2

One of the more frustrating fights purely due to its relative length. You first have to kill Riddoh, who is the giant ogre holding Fran on his back. Fran will continously cast Throw Dynamite at you, and if possible you should avoid by continuously moving.

Every now and then Fran will throw a fan of landmines around himself (and likely you). This fan will look like a C. You must leave through the opening in the circle before Fran detonates the landmines. They do not kill, however one landmine can bring even the toughest warriors to their last breath.

Once Riddoh Dies, Kill fran by following the same procedure, and move on.

I did this fight by killing Riddoh first (Monk WW DPS)

As a melee, my advice is to not stop kiting till the mines are placed, once the mines are placed - shortly after you'll be snared, use this time to DPS hard. Once the snare is gone the mines would of blown up. Kite again. Rinse & repeat.

Be aware once Riddoh is killed, the throw dynamite will become faster & mines will still be placed.

If you do get caught within the mines & you are net'd you will most likely be one-shot'd.

If you can manage it, kill Fran first. That stops the bombs/mines. Riddoh still nets you, but his hits are relatively weaker.

As a feral druid when i got surrounded by mines i used typhoon to throw the boss further and then used wild charge to get over the mines :) good luck everyone

Bran and Hodor from A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, anyone? I mean, Riddoh does say his name when he dies, and Fran is riding Riddoh's back. Also, if you kill Riddoh before Fran, Fran will just sit there as if he were crippled, as Bran is.

1. This guy is the third boss of the second Brawler's Guild rank, and seventh overall.

2. You fight him, as well as Riddoh, at the same time. They do not share a health pool; Fran has around 1.4 million health, and Riddoh has 2.1 million health. Both must be dead to win.

3. The bosses have three abilities of note. First, Riddoh will use a 5 second root that is not interruptible but can be broken with the human racial or a PvP trinket.

4. Second, usually right after the root, Fran will place a circle of bombs around you. You must run out of the opening in the circle that is created. If you stay in the circle, you WILL die. If you hit a bomb, each bomb takes around 25% of your health. Sometimes, they are buggy, and the bombs remain on the ground after exploding.

5. For the rest of the fight, Fran will constantly throw bombs at you. These do little damage and can be avoided.

6. If you kill Riddoh first, Fran will sit down and become immobile for the rest of the fight. If you kill Fran first, Riddoh will enrage.

7. For this fight, you want to be geared, in a DPS spec, and possibly buffed by the spectators.

Fire Mage:
Nuke Riddoh first. Use Dragon's Breath to interrupt them both. Use Frost Nova if you need to get away from the melee dmg.

Once rooted, wait for the mines to lay then Blink out... It was always off cooldown when I was rooted again.

Riddoh dies. Run constantly and cast Scorch/Living Bomb until Fran dies. Usually down to about 30% through dot damage while killing Riddoh.

Fran will be happy to throw his Dynamite at your totems. Even totems placed via 被烧毁的雕文. Profit.

While Fran & Riddoh are two opponents, Fran is mounting Riddoh, so it is as if you were fighting only one opponent. They have the following abilities:

Riddoh's melee attack does between 10k and 15k damage.
Fran will often Throw Dynamite at you. It explodes when it touches the ground, dealing Dynamite Blast damage to you.
Riddoh will often use Throw Net, which will trap you for 5 seconds. After a few seconds, Fran will surround you with explosives (Goblin Device). After 3 seconds, the explosives will explode, dealing Explosion damage to you if you are still within 5 yards.

I advise you to kill Riddoh and Fran at the same time, as I believe that the fight is easier when they are both alive.

If Riddoh dies first, then Fran will start using Throw Dynamite a lot more frequently.
If Fran dies first, then Riddoh will enrage (Frenzied Riddoh) and deal 250% increased damage.

To successfully complete the fight, you need to move from time to time to avoid the dynamite that Fran throws at you. If you are a ranged DPS, then you can root or slow Riddoh so that you can stay away from him and avoid his melee attacks. Melee players will need to remain at melee range, but all melee classes have good mitigation tools against physical attacks.

Riddoh's trap will ALWAYS expire before Fran's explosives detonate. So, you should be ready to move to a safe distance from the explosives as soon as the trap disappears. If you are too slow to react, you will most likely take Explosion damage.

This fight really baffles me. Twice now when I've had Fran at low health, he just insta-kills me and I don't even know how or why. I kill Riddoh first, then I move on to Fran, but when I get him to low health, there's this big explosion particle effect on my character which does not happen when he uses the normal dynamite throw, and I just die instantly. I'm a blood DK and the entire time I'm at full health. In my combat log, I see nothing that explains this sudden insta-kill. What the hell is happening?
Exerpt from my combat log to show that I'm not crazy:

Bloodworm Blood Burst healed You 80097 Shadow. (29319 Overhealed)
Fran Dynamite Blast hit You 11459 Fire.
You died.

Obviously I have more than 11,459 health, so how is it possible for that to instantly kill me when I'm at full health?

Cakewalk as a 502 assassination rogue, didn't even use CDs. I opened on Fran and dpsed her down to about 25% and then switched to Riddoh. Whenever I got netted near bombs, I picked which open spot I would run through and spammed 速度爆发 when the net broke, running towards the opposite corner of the arena. I'd let them come to me instead of running back to them so that I'd get some extra Recuperate ticks in. By keeping them nearish a corner, I always had a good distance that I could run/kite across while my health ticked back up. Because Fran's health was already so low when I killed Riddoh, I didn't really have to deal with dynamite spam - both are stunnable and I got a 5 pt KS off as quickly as I could - by the time the stun wore off, she was dead.

Almost trivial as a hunter. I have MD macro'ed under cobra and multi-shot, so they went straight for my pet and never bothered me. Just spam mend pet, then alternate cobra and multi-shot, switching targets as needed to keep their health's balanced. You can use Barrage as well, but that will unbalance them a little.

For those that want to kill every boss before they gone in the legion pre-patch and, like me, want to know if is needed to folow any tacticts to kill this boss: as elemental shaman 738 just nuke :)

Used Primal Fire Elemental with glyph so it is up every fight, 拳手的德拉诺智慧药水, Ring, Ascendence, Elemental Mastery and Spiritwalker's Grace (in case you really need to move)

Hope this could save time to someone!

As a retribution paladin I was having trouble staying alive with all the dynamites while netted.

Eventually I just went protection, killed Fran first, let Riddoh enrage, and just killed him.
