i got it tonight and turns out his coin only has 3 charges on it and if you attack something you lose it and you cant mount with it...heads up if you wanna just have it on

I feel sorry for little Scotty, living in his little sprite house all tucked away out of sight and hidden from the world.
I doubt he wanted to fight me; he just wanted to be left alone. Nice coin, though.

we've got there to look up at scotty weve killed him 3 times and you can loot the coin ones then you need to spent the 3 charges before you can loot it again. Scotty respawns in 5 min. and he's easy to solo.

The entrance is small, it took me a while to find it, its a small gap between the roots, above the ground. It leads behind one of the Mantid buildings where u will find scotty.
You can also slip behing the building and youll find him there.

It took me a moment to find him
-He is found in the inside of the big tree all the houses are around, there is a small crack behind one of the houses(you can also fly into the crack in a spot near the roof.
-He Drops 史考特的幸运币 pretty much every time as far as i can see
-No problem to kill at level 90(have not tried on any lower levels)
-He is on roughly a 5-8 minute respawn timer
-The 史考特的幸运币 only has 3 charges, that means it can only be used 3 times
(P.S. you may only have 3 in your inventory)
-The 史考特的幸运币 is purged in combat

Fly to 21.50, 47.40... You will see a Mantid house at the base of the massive Sra'vess tree. Check my screen shot which tells you where to enter the little nook NEXT TO the house (Do NOT enter house).

Go round the back of the house and you will see an opening to Scotty's little area. Fight him outside as you might get caught like i did behind Scotty's furniture.

What really helped me find this NPC, was typing "/target Scotty" that way you can see which side of the tree he is on, and then locate the crack behind the house from there, as the target location on the mini map is very close to the house that he is behind.

WARNING: For people who are battling Scotty in order to get the coin for the new pet, joining as a group may not get the item for you.

For some reason, the coin was something that required rolling on. Apparently either there was a bug, or for some odd reason, only one person has a chance on it, even though we were on personal loot (he even got a basic green where I didn't so the loot we received was definitely different).

For people after the coin for the pet, be aware of the possibility that rolling on it may be necessary even in group!

Scotty's spawn timer seems to be around 7 mins

scotty's respawn timer is NOT 7 minutes. It is 6 minutes! I timed it exactly.

Scotty is behind a house at tomtom 21.7 46.1. Easier if a macro /target scotty is used.
