Just fought him at 40,72 and wiped him out easily at level 57. My Felguard dodged and parried his first 4 attacks and he only hits for around 150. He didn't drop anything for me ;(

these give about twice the exp equal leveld mobs give
although its is pretty fun to kill them

As of the Shattering patch, all of the elite stegodons seem to have become passive mobs (they only attack if attacked first, or if deliberately provoked by Maximillian). Thank heaven.

Contrary to what this mob would lead one to believe, real life stegodonts were actually mammals related to mammoths rather than dinosaurs. Whoever named these was probably thinking of stegosaurs, which come a lot closer to these in looks.
