I'm really surprised no one has mentioned this.

This mob is pretty unique in that it's a non-named regular outdoors trash mob that will follow you as far as you run. It aggroed me roughly in the center of the island on the north side of the lagoon and followed me all the way to the south end of the southern island at which point I feigned and it stopped.

Not sure why Blizzard did this but maybe there will be some interesting daily quests involving leading this thing somewhere far away?

No idea. Just know that it was incredibly frustrating.
